This is a nice small campground with spacious sites. Lots of hiking trails including the trail to the highest point in Arkansas which is right across the street from the campground. The restrooms were clean with hot showers. Great views from the lodge and they have various ranger programs on the weekends. The food at the lodge is OK, breakfast was better than dinner. There is a gas station in Cove Creek at the bottom of the mountain which has very good hamburgers, it is only about 10 minutes away. We will stay here again if in the area.

This is a nice campground with level spacious sites. Many sites are waterfront with great views. The campground roads are good areas for dog walking.bike riding, and there is lots of open areas for kids to play. The restrooms were good. The showers were hot and water pressure was good. We stayed during spring break and, even though the campground was full, it did not feel crowded. We will definitely camp here again.

This is a very nice, clean park which we really enjoyed. The sites are easy to get into and fairly spacious. The park is on a beautiful lake with many activities including hiking trails, fishing, boat rentals and swimming. We stayed here over labor day weekend and although the park was full, it didn't feel crowded. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay here again when passing through.

We stayed here for 1 night passing through. The lake is beautiful but we will not stay here again due to the lack of restroom facilities. The restrooms did not have doors on the stalls in the women's and were very dirty. Had to walk around several large spider webs just to get in door and also had many dirt dabber nests inside the stalls. The restroom lights were not able to be turned on in the early morning hours so a flashlight was the only light. If you camp in one of the lakefront sites the restrooms are about a 10-15 minute walk with no outdoor lights between. If you intend to use the campgrounds restrooms do not stay here, it is downright scary!

We really enjoyed our stay at this park. Stayed for 1 night on way home from Colorado. Staff was friendly and escorted us to our site. Sites were grass/gravel and were pretty level. Very nice dog walk area. Restrooms were clean with spacious shower areas. Only about a mile from The Big Texan Steak Ranch which was a good time. The Big Texan runs limos to this park every hour which is great if you don't want to unhitch. We will stay here again!

Nice park for stopping over. Concrete level sites. This park has some of the nicest restrooms we have seen. Very easy to get to off of the turnpike coming from the south. Within walking distance of several fast food restaurants. Dog walk appeared to be under construction during our stay, no grass only dirt. However, there were nice grassy areas between the sites. Only complaint was that the price, which we thought was a little high.

The sites are very small so it can be a problem if the neighbors dogs do not get along with your pets. Just not enough space between them. Overall the campground needs some tree trimming and grass mowing. The was a horrible mosquito problem which could have possibly been helped had the grass and brush been trimmed. The dog walk area was nearly unusable due to the overgrowth of sage brush. It is now just a single file trail through the brush. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were hot. The camp staff was friendly and the ice cream social was well worth the $1.50. Not sure if we will return this could be a really nice campground with a few changes.

Very beautiful views at this park. Nice hiking trail which leads to Piney Point Park, but we did encounter wild hogs on the trail so beware! The shower area was clean with hot water. Pet friendly, decent areas to walk dogs. There did appear to be some long term campers here whose extra vehicle's were spilling into adjacent sites. Had to ask one person to move his truck so we could get into our site. The local's do use this campground as a party area on the weekends. They congregate between the lakefront sites watching their friends out on jet skis who are riding way to close to the shore. Park ranger said that the area between the sites is "public" and they were welcome to continue their party, this was a group of about 25 people! Not sure if we will return, strange thing with the local folks.

This is a very nice park. Lots of activities including, hiking, horseback riding, golf, boat tours, etc. Many ranger programs on the weekends. The wooded sites are very large and private, but most of them do not have lake views. Sites out on the peninsula are a little tight, but they do have wonderful views. Leveling is required at many sites, but we have never had problems getting level. The park is clean and large enough not to feel crowded even though most sites were occupied during our last stay. The lodge does have a pretty good restaurant with great views of the lake. Degray is close to Arkadelphia which has several restaurants at the interstate, also not to far into Hot Springs. Restrooms/showers were nice and clean. We love camping at Arkansas State Parks and will definitely return.
