Fall Creek Falls State Park, Spencer, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful Campground! Some of the sites are difficult to get in to if you have a larger RV. Ours is 33ft. and took a few tries. Plenty to do in the park as it has abundant facilities. A store that has everything from food to camper supplies. Enter park using south entrance; much easier for RV's. Don't use TN30 if coming from I 40. That takes you to the North entrance. Keep going on 111 to get to the South entrance. Deer are all over the campground and aren't shy. Lots to do with hiking, tennis, pools, biking, and the scenery in the park is beautiful. Reminds us of the Smokies. We camped at Fall Creek Falls State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Gunter Hill COE, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful campground with friendly staff. Park is about 15 miles off I-65 next to a small speedway for those of you that want to enjoy some car racing on a Saturday night. Park has many mature trees and new section has paved sites with sewers. Sites have picnic tables with fire rings. Use directions provided on park website and not GPS if coming from north. GPS tried to take us down some dirt roads even with dirt roads disabled on unit. Definitely worth the price and we will stay here again. We camped at Gunter Hill COE in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean and well maintained. Great staff that was very friendly. Sites are large and secluded from one another. Beautiful paved paths from campground to boardwalk that leads to he beach. Can't see ocean from campground but for the price it can't be beat. Will stay here again. We camped at Henderson Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Taylorsville Lake State Park Campground, Taylorsville, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean park with spacious sites. Friendly staff, very helpful if needed. Ice and wood delivered to site if needed. Electrical problems near back of park. A lot of the electric outlets, 30 amp, were melted. My surge protector which has a readout read anywhere from 108 volts to 120. Small pea gravel on sites. Nice bathhouse and playground. Very nice campground as far as State Parks go. We camped at Taylorsville Lake State Park Campground in a Motorhome.
