Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA , Fort Collins, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here for several years and have noticed the park degrading more each time and the cost to increase. The fee structures dont match the quality you would expect from KOA. Very disappointed and seems like the management/ownership is not a caring or concerned about their customers. Ie.. site was trash ridden and with low hanging branches and made backing up difficult. Too many other campgrounds with higher value towards the customer, we will not stay here again. We camped at Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA in a Motorhome.

Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA , Fort Collins, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $52.00
Overall Rating:

We recently stayed at KOA on a busy weekend. The entrance in was a tight turn for large vehicles, this park is not situated for very well for large RV's. The site was small and tight to get into, our motor home was to the edge of the driveway and left no room for our tow vehicle. There were many seasonal spots and did not look very appealing ie... trailers, welding equipment, commercial trucks... This stereotypes the mobile home parks. The restrooms were OK but could use some updating and there were not enough to support the size of the park. Not all sites had fire pits and you needed to rent theirs if you wanted a fire, even though we had an portable elevated fire pit. Too many fees and rules that did not make sense. We camped at Fort Collins / Lakeside KOA in a Motorhome.

Snowy Peaks RV Park, Buena Vista, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We would have rated this campground higher but a few areas needed improvement, they don't seem to have enough bathrooms for the size of the park, the dump station was too close to camp sites and the Wi-Fi was non-existent from most places in the park (even with multiple antennas). With the dry climate in Colorado you expect the campgrounds to have good roads, there was way too much dust and not enough gravel on the roads. Price point was high and no discounts i.e.. AARP, AAA, Good Sam... We camped at Snowy Peaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bristlecone Lodge, Woodland Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We visited the RV park this past weekend and enjoyed our stay. We agree with the other reviews this park has too many long term residents and draws from the true experience. Parking and driveways are way too tight for larger RV's. We stayed here in a 37' motor home. We camped at Bristlecone Lodge in a Motorhome.

Destin West RV Resort, Fort Walton Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $109.00
Overall Rating:

We recently stayed at Destin West RV resort, and had a great time. Sites were large and open, plenty of room for parking towed vehicles and anything else. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Destin West RV resort is well worth the price. All the sites are easy in/out with a large motorhome. Access to Ramada and usage of all facilities is directly across the street and access to the overhead walkway is very convenient. We will stay her any time we visit Destin/Fort Walton area. We camped at Destin West RV Resort in a Motorhome.
