Jackson Rancheria RV Park, Jackson, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

What a nice park, on a hill with miles of view. Grass between all the sites. Sites are level and all utilities worked. A nice fenced dog area, divided with 2 sections, both grass and dirt in each area. There is a convenient bus to the casino for gambling or meals or both. We only stayed one night but will come back again. We camped at Jackson Rancheria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park, Gilroy, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in this park a few years ago and remembered it being nicer. Gravel between the sites and cement pads were level. There were weeds everywhere coming up at the edges of the concrete. There is a fenced dog area with bags for picking up that few people used. Long term residents let dogs run loose. Told a staff member and she talked to the offender so didn't see the dog loose again. Restrooms needed attention. No paper towels one time. Floor was dirty. I would stay again but only in a pinch. We camped at Gilroy Garlic USA RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort, Pismo Beach, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 3 nights. The happy hour at the grill was good. Deserts were awesome. Sites are adequate if your neighbors are friendly, and courteous, and they were for us. There was room for most cars off the pavement. All utilities worked and were convenient. There are paths from the resort to the beach and a lookout tower that gives a wonderful view out of the wind. We would stay again. We camped at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Ventura Beach RV Resort, Ventura, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $82.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights in a site that was far enough from the freeway not to be annoying. We expected noise. The grounds were clean and kept up. Nice green grass at most sites and even some shade. Our wrist bands were never checked while we were in the park. Saw few people wearing them. Saw several dogs off leash and even one of them in the pool area but no one seemed to care. Asked at the office when the dog was by the pool and was told it was ok even though there is a sign on the gate saying no pets. The park is convenient to downtown. We're on the fence whether to ever stay again. The $5 per dog per day was too much when they don't enforce pet rules. We camped at Ventura Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

San Diego Metro KOA, Chula Vista, California

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park 10 years ago. It's a very nice park . The cafe has reasonable prices. The dog park is secure and has things for the dogs to do. Much improved from 10 years and we thought it was nice then. Construction of a new pool is a little noisy week days but quiet at night. We will stay again. We camped at San Diego Metro KOA in a Motorhome.

Saddle Mountain RV Park, Tonopah, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The park office was closed when we got there about 2pm on a Saturday. Took a payment envelope and map and looked for a site. Over nite sites were close to the road but level. The only shade was from tall spindly palm trees. We did have help from a staff person who showed us how to turn on the electric. Not like usual. Utilities were at the back of the site so our tow was nearly in the road and we have a small car toad. We camped at Saddle Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Banning Stagecoach KOA, Banning, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA, long enough , level site so we didn't have to unhook the tow. Dog park was ok but we thought our smallest dog might be able to get under one gate. Everything worked. The trains were noisy but typical for RV parks next to train tracks or highways or between them. I would stay there again We camped at Banning Stagecoach KOA in a Motorhome.

Sun & Fun RV Park, Tulare, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Not a lot of shade in this park. We did have a pull thru that was a little awkward to get into. Other reviewers mentioned the train noise. Yes, there are trains, but if you use your AC and earplugs, it's not a problem We camped at Sun & Fun RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sacramento Shade RV Park (formerly Oak Haven RV Park), Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park to visit friends. Our site was across a 2 lane road from I-80. Loud all the time. Use your earplugs! The pool is not heated so was too cold for me. They have a small grassy, fenced dog area that our dogs liked. Be sure to park your car with traffic. If you don't, various police agencies patrol this private property and ticket cars regularly. We camped at Sacramento Shade RV Park (formerly Oak Haven RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Eagle Tree RV Park, Poulsbo, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites seem not to be level but not much to get level. I usually get a back in site, shaded, easy for my smaller RV. The pull thru sites are very narrow as others have said. I've stayed here before and will again. Not much choice in the area. The staff are friendly and helpful. They work hard to keep the place nice looking. Only about 3 miles to Poulsbo for any shopping. We camped at Eagle Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ellensburg KOA, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

I've stayed here before. Big trees around, cottonwoods, so shade but hard on allergies. They try to keep it cleaned up. Small fenced dog area at a far end of the park. My site was level enough but barely long enough for a small motor home and tow. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Carriage House Inn & RV Park, Bonners Ferry, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

First time at his small park. It only has a few sites, some side by sides. Had a little trouble getting level. Gravel sites with grass around. They have a pet area that hasn't been mowed in a while. There is a grocery store across the street (highway) and one a block on the same side of the street. It was convenient for us and would stay again. There is lots of shade from big trees. Might be a tight squeeze for big rigs. We camped at Carriage House Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.
