Saddle Mountain RV Park, Tonopah, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The park office was closed when we got there about 2pm on a Saturday. Took a payment envelope and map and looked for a site. Over nite sites were close to the road but level. The only shade was from tall spindly palm trees. We did have help from a staff person who showed us how to turn on the electric. Not like usual. Utilities were at the back of the site so our tow was nearly in the road and we have a small car toad. We camped at Saddle Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Banning Stagecoach KOA, Banning, California

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Typical KOA, long enough , level site so we didn't have to unhook the tow. Dog park was ok but we thought our smallest dog might be able to get under one gate. Everything worked. The trains were noisy but typical for RV parks next to train tracks or highways or between them. I would stay there again We camped at Banning Stagecoach KOA in a Motorhome.

Sun & Fun RV Park, Tulare, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Not a lot of shade in this park. We did have a pull thru that was a little awkward to get into. Other reviewers mentioned the train noise. Yes, there are trains, but if you use your AC and earplugs, it's not a problem We camped at Sun & Fun RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sacramento Shade RV Park (formerly Oak Haven RV Park), Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park to visit friends. Our site was across a 2 lane road from I-80. Loud all the time. Use your earplugs! The pool is not heated so was too cold for me. They have a small grassy, fenced dog area that our dogs liked. Be sure to park your car with traffic. If you don't, various police agencies patrol this private property and ticket cars regularly. We camped at Sacramento Shade RV Park (formerly Oak Haven RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Eagle Tree RV Park, Poulsbo, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites seem not to be level but not much to get level. I usually get a back in site, shaded, easy for my smaller RV. The pull thru sites are very narrow as others have said. I've stayed here before and will again. Not much choice in the area. The staff are friendly and helpful. They work hard to keep the place nice looking. Only about 3 miles to Poulsbo for any shopping. We camped at Eagle Tree RV Park in a Motorhome.

Ellensburg KOA, Ellensburg, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

I've stayed here before. Big trees around, cottonwoods, so shade but hard on allergies. They try to keep it cleaned up. Small fenced dog area at a far end of the park. My site was level enough but barely long enough for a small motor home and tow. We camped at Ellensburg KOA in a Motorhome.

Carriage House Inn & RV Park, Bonners Ferry, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

First time at his small park. It only has a few sites, some side by sides. Had a little trouble getting level. Gravel sites with grass around. They have a pet area that hasn't been mowed in a while. There is a grocery store across the street (highway) and one a block on the same side of the street. It was convenient for us and would stay again. There is lots of shade from big trees. Might be a tight squeeze for big rigs. We camped at Carriage House Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pendleton KOA , Pendleton, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

I had a long level pull-through. Wasn't escorted to the site but was told to be careful of the trees pulling in. The fenced dog area was nice except for the poop that wasn't picked by other people with dogs. I've stayed before and would again for the convenience to the highway. I think their price is high. We camped at Pendleton KOA in a Motorhome.

Large grassy sites, yes, park on the nice green grass. Mature trees for shade. My site was not level but worked for one night. Looked like it took a lot to level most sites. A nice view of the river. I would stay again. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Motorhome.

New Frontier RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Nice new park. Small trees but just enough shade for a chair. Pull-thrus are paved, back ins are gravel but all level. There's a secure fenced dog area but I don't like the large gravel and no shade for a few years. The park is convenient from the freeway. I would stay again. We camped at New Frontier RV Park in a Motorhome.

Well maintained park. I was told I would need a 50 amp adapter when I made the reservation. There is a small grassy dog area with bags provided. Roads and sited are firm packed gravel that they keep raked smooth. My site wasn't level but it worked OK. We camped at Chloride Western RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park Place Community Resort (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff if you get there on a weekday. Like so many parks in the area, the office isn't open on weekends. RVs are parked between park models so some sites have uneven concrete and pavers. Didn't use the pool but heard it was going to be closed the day I left for repairs. Very nice grassy dog area, not fenced. The garbage can for dog bags wasn't emptied all week and an ash tray was full too, the whole week. The dog area was mowed but lots of weeds in and around sites. Stayed in a motor home, hot weather and the electric didn't fail. That's a good thing. We camped at Park Place Community Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice park, well kept up. We had a pull thru site on the end so had to unhook the car so we could get to the back of the site to plug in. Would have unhooked the car anyway. Other pull-thrus are plenty long. Gravel sites, paved roads, very nice fenced dog area. Not much shaderom small trees. Friendly staff and other visitors. Lots of activities including a waffle breakfast weekdays free with your stay. I would stay again. We camped at Casa Grande RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Holiday Village Mobile Home and RV Park (55+ park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Got to the park with a reservation on a Sunday. The office is closed weekends (wasn't mentioned when I made the reservation) but luckily I had a site number. Oops, that site is occupied by a very nice couple who have been there for 2 months. And don't plan to leave. So we looked all over the park for a vacant site. It's an old mobile home park so RVs ar parked where mobiles have moved out. Hookups are well back in sites. We checked several vacant sites, either had no plug in electric box or too far for my electric cord. Didn't stay because we are traveling with dogs and need electric for the AC. AND we weren't told when I made the reservation that you need a 50 amp adapter if you only need 30 amps. We camped at Holiday Village Mobile Home and RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
