Lake Siskiyou Beach and Camp, Mount Shasta, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great location in the large pine trees. Full hookups in most sites and you are in the forest. Some sites are set up a little different with fire pit and table on driver side of unit, so you have to walk around your trailer to get to them. Great marina with boat rentals very reasonably priced. General store on site has most basic essentials. Full restaurant on site. Big portions but priced at regular restaurant prices, which is ok since your about 5 minute drive from town. The best is the beach. Sitting on the sand and looking at the beautiful Mt. Shasta across the lake. Large water structures for kids to climb on in the lake. $8 for 1 hour or $15 for 4 hours to use. Must be 6 years old to use with life jacket, and under 6 can use with adult supervision. Great fishing since the lake receives extra fish throughout the summer from the fish hatchery down the road. Boating is limited to 10mph so no ski boats. There are also cabin and single wide trailers for rent. Daily outdoor movie nights. Laundry facilities. All in all highly recommend. We love it here. We camped at Lake Siskiyou Beach and Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Diamond Lake RV Park, Diamond Lake, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff and guided into your spot at check-in. Gravel and dirt spots, but paved roads. Set back away from lake in large pine trees. Very quiet and peaceful. The mosquitos were really bad. Never could sit outside in evening around fire. Real good pizza at South Shore Pizza walking distance from park and they even have a small store there. Paved bike path around entire lake 11 miles. From RV park to the north shore resort was about 3 miles. Pretty level ride. North shore resort has restaurant and nice sandy beach with roped off swimming area, boat rentals of all kinds and even bikes. The site #9 was not too level as I had to used three pads to level out. Power and water towards front of site and sewer at rear. Would definitely stay again as you are close to Crater Lake approximately 25 minute drive to the rim. Also, with the lake nearby. We camped at Diamond Lake RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This was our first stay here. The check in was fast and easy. Many full time RVers in other two sections, but well kept sites with potted plants. Sites are nicely paved and level. Hookups to the rear of site but two choices of sewer hookup spots. Nice grass between sites, but they are short on picnic tables and we had to carry one from other site. Regular spacing between sites. Very long pull-throughs. No shade, immature trees. No open burning fire pits allowed. Some train noise until 10pm then start up again at 630am, but not to noticeable inside trailer. If towards front of park some frontage road noise by semi trucks driving by to somewhere and humming of cars on I-5. WiFi was intermittent to not working most of the time. Stayed in site #3. The pool was ok, but a little dirty. They need to have some shade umbrellas. The hot tub was dirty with what looked like bird feathers and not working. Stayed 4 nights. Would probably stay here again if nothing else looked good nearby. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
