Soledad Canyon Park / Thousand Trails, Acton, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

I stayed in this park a couple of years ago and it was OK, but new manager is making tremendous progress turning it into a great park. She has removed the long term residents and started fixing amenities that were neglected. The pool area is fantastic. Its a big park with a great location. Section N has good Verizon signal. We camped at Soledad Canyon Park / Thousand Trails in a Fifth Wheel.

Griffin Park, Pierre, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a city park on the river. Dump station and fresh water available. Park has a community pool and several group pavilions. Good for a few days stop and rules limit you to a maximum stay of 5 days. We camped at Griffin Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Washington Park (City Park), De Smet, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

This is a town park with a kids playground near baseball fields. The park is near a hospital and very quiet. De Smet is a small town, so Laura Ingalls Wilder attractions are within a couple miles. I would stay here again. We camped at Washington Park (City Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Lancaster Event Center, Lincoln, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a large gravel parking lot to support concessionaires of the event center. Camping fees can be paid at the business office in the Northwest corner of the event center. Fees are high for what you get, but its located on a greenbelt with a Walmart next door. We camped at Lancaster Event Center in a Fifth Wheel.
