Sunrise Village RV & Mobile Home Resort, Safford, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived mid afternoon, the office was not clearly marked. The manager was even harder to find. Spaces are very close. The people next to us had their vehicle parked on top of the water – they moved it. Went to hook up the TV cable and it appeared that someone had vandalized it. Called office, message said return call 24 hours later . So there was no TV and no WiFi, knew about the WiFi going in. Antenna did not work, for TV. Walked up to office in the morning and asked for some of our $$ back – she said NO. Not a very welcoming place IMHO. Not a return destination for us We camped at Sunrise Village RV & Mobile Home Resort in a Motorhome.

Cactus RV Park (CLOSED), Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We are traveling west and try to go the back roads when possible. Tucumcari was on a radar as far as the distance we wanted to travel. We made reservations at this wee park and when we got here they had 'our' spot roped off. It is a charming park.. And for those traveling and need an overnight - this really works. The lady that showed us to our spot was delightful and very kind- suggesting that she had us pointed in the direction to have the sun be the least offensive on our wee RV. We stayed in Buckeye AZ at a snowbird park, last year, and this one has it beat IMHO. We camped at Cactus RV Park (CLOSED) in a Motorhome.
