Butterfly Camping Resort, Jackson, New Jersey

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed the campground. The pool and playground seem very nice, although we did not use them. The roads are fairly easy access, the trees are trimmed back nicely. Easy to get through with our B+ MH. One downfall is that the roads and sites are all dirt, which is somewhat messy. Our site was plenty big and there were good privacy shrubs between sites. Easy access to hook ups as well. We went to the beach towns for day trips, and that was an easy drive. Six Flags and Outlets are close by as well. We will come back to this campground. We camped at Butterfly Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Spring Gulch Resort Campground, New Holland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We loved this park. The sites are fairly level, and very large. We especially loved the size of the sites. The park is "divided" into upper and lower sections, each has a pool and facilities. The park was quiet in our section and very nice. We had a full hook up and everything was very convenient in that regard. Close to everything in Dutch Country. We plan to return again soon. We camped at Spring Gulch Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Otter Lake Camp Resort, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park! The sites are of good size, the park is well planned with multiple pools and play areas. Tennis courts are nice and there is also a ball field. And, a nice lake! The staff are helpful and friendly. There is something for everyone here. We are local, within an hour, so we don't go out of the park, but for us it is a close getaway for weekends. We camped at Otter Lake Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2007 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

The owners and staff at this RV resort were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. This is truly a resort, and it felt that way. The RV Park was very clean, professionally maintained, beautifully landscaped and well planned. We enjoyed waking up to see the water and boats out our bedroom window. The waterfront sites are worth the extra few dollars we spent on them. There is a restaurant on-site, not owned by the resort. It is a bit expensive, however, the views are awesome and the staff and food extremely good. We would highly recommend this RV resort. We plan to visit again. We camped at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La, Milton, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Smaller park, but very nice. Well maintained and planned park. Recently became a Yogi and there have been dramatic improvements in activities, etc. This is a nice spot to tour central PA. The park has some pull-though sites, mostly back-ins. Sites are good size. You can get a back-in site along the creek, but there is no sewer hook-ups in this area. Also, the creek area does tend to flood at times requiring moving the RV. This is a nice park and we will visit again when we are in the area. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts Yogi at Shangri-La in a Motorhome.

Lake George RV Park, Lake George, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2006 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the nicest parks we have visited in our RV experiences. The park is well planned, maticuously kept and very large. There are ponds for fishing, paddle boats, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, 2 arcades, snack bar, adult lounge, movie theater and even a playhouse. While the activities were more limited on this stay, we had plenty to do! The sites are fairly large, nicely landscaped, and many pull-throughs. The store is well stocked and the staff very helpful. We will be back! We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Motorhome.

Whippoorwill Campground, Marmora, New Jersey

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV park. The sites are well laid out and very tree lined. The campground has plenty to do, including tennis, basketball, pool, arcade, and arts and crafts. We camped with family, and our sites backed right up to each other, very nice and convenient. My 12 yo nephew loved the experience and esp. the arcade, where he enjoyed beating me at friendly games of pool and air hockey! Overall, this is an excellent park with friendly staff. We will visit here again for sure! We camped with a 31' Class B+. The roads can be a little tight for bigger rigs, so just take your time. Highly recommended. We camped at Whippoorwill Campground in a Motorhome.

Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA, East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are good size. No sewer and a slightly difficult road leading into the park for big rigs. One section of the campground is directly under high tension power lines. Not pretty there at all. The store is fairly small. Pool is also fairly small. Nicely kept and friendly staff. Our site was along the main entrance road, but was very big and fairly level. We camped at Delaware Water Gap / Pocono Mountain KOA in a Motorhome.
