Starrigavan Campground, Sitka, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

The only drawback is that it's a bit of a drive from town. However, super close to the ferry terminal, great hiking trail from the campground, some decent birdwatching too! We camped at Starrigavan Campground in a Truck Camper.

Pippy Park Campgrounds and Trailer Park, St John's, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Filthy!! It is hard to believe that the city of St John's or any city runs this. The facilities are the filthiest that we have encountered in Newfoundland and the most expensive! It's disgusting and so appalling that we will be cutting our visit to this city short. Shame on you St John's for this blight against those who travel to visit you by RV or tent. We camped at Pippy Park Campgrounds and Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Camping Le Rayon de Soleil, St Alexandre-de-Kamouraska, Quebec

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We were in a camper van and didn't get a serviced site. The pool is nice, but not heated. Playground available for the kids. We were in the back, don't know about WiFi but it wasn't available where we were camped. Just passing through, fine for the night. I wouldn't want to stay longer, too close to the highway and that noise for me. We camped at Camping Le Rayon de Soleil in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Pines Family Campground, Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

WiFi is so slow as to be almost useless. The washrooms were clean but very, very tiny. The kids liked the playground. Pool small and not heated, we didn't use it. We would stay there again if in the area. We camped at Ponderosa Pines Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Triple Falls RV Park, St Anthony, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing wrong with this park. Restrooms and showers were very clean. The kids enjoyed the playground. The owner's were nice. We ended up staying an extra night. There are only 3 options for campers in the St Anthony area. If you insist on hook-ups, you can't camp at the provincial park. This RV park is superior to the other one in all regards. The other one is closer to Lanse aux Meadows. We stayed at all 3 options and liked this place best. We camped at Triple Falls RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pistolet Bay Provincial Park, Raleigh, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, facilities are very clean and laundry available. Good place to stay when visiting the 'arm'. The children's play area is down at the day use area, as is a beach.... if you are brave enough to swim during a northern Newfoundland summer! lol WiFi is available down near the entry. We camped at Pistolet Bay Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Viking RV Park, Quirpon, Newfoundland

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Close to Lanse aux Meadows. Owners are nice. We camped here but didn't bother with electric. There is a boil water order, but this is the way it is all the way up the coast. The washrooms are older, but are clean (not heated). It is a basic place to stay while visiting the area. Wi-Fi worked great and the prices are right. We would stay again. We camped at Viking RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wayside Campground, Glen Margaret, Nova Scotia

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Ok for a night while visiting Peggy's Cove area. My grandchildren were disappointed because the 'playground' wasn't really useable. A couple of swings and poorly maintained. They do love their playgrounds. You have to pay for the showers. We camped at Wayside Campground in a Motorhome.
