Nice trees and sites well spaced. Good for an overnight stop. Not as good for kids; maybe better if pool ever opens. Wi-Fi slow and only worked at reception. We camped at Eagle Valley Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Not a great KOA. Poor shade on sites, poorly trained reception staff, very close to a busy highway. We camped at Toronto-North KOA/Cookstown in a Motorhome.

Efficient staff, friendly. Industrial scale campground, with few trees in the main lower area. Wi-Fi only works at reception. Pool area could have done with cleaning due to volumes of users. Very close to the Trans-Canada Highway. We camped at Thunder Bay KOA in a Motorhome.

Friendly owner and Wawa town is nice to stop in. Pool was nice although not heated, good playground. Shaded sites. However, mosquitos the worst we've experienced, even got through some of the fly screens. We camped at Wawa RV Resort and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada), Banff National Park, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great location and some sites have amazing views of the Rockies (ask staff which ones). Kids loved the wildlife and walks and the views were great. Early booking essential. Some shared sites require careful parking so aim for a single site. We camped at Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court Campground - Full Hookups (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Neys Lunch and Campground, Marathon, Ontario

OK for a 1 night stopover but would consider mainly for this as limited facilities otherwise and far from shops. Lots of flies. Not set up for kids. We camped at Neys Lunch and Campground in a Motorhome.

Sturgeon Falls KOA, Sturgeon Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

One of the best RV parks we've stayed in and way ahead of most KOAs. The kids loved the slide at the lake for swimming, it was a great part of our holiday there. The owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The extra facilities offered are great and we appreciated them a lot e.g. lake visit, free campsite BBQ. Washrooms amongst the cleanest we've seen. Overall this stood out as one of the best campsites we've stayed in and the best in Northern Ontario. We camped at Sturgeon Falls KOA in a Motorhome.
