Misty Mountain Camp Resort, Crozet, Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. Our site was on the lower section and not up on the hill. Pool was fine when we were there. A couple broken machines in the laundry room. Has a nice rec. area and rec. room. The fishing pond was a funky color for some reason; the stream was nice enough. Store was above average. Had a decent signal(Sprint). Close to the beautiful Blue Ridge parkway. Nice staff. We camped at Misty Mountain Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Beech Fork State Park, Barboursville, West Virginia

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park. We stayed in the Old Orchard section in a pull through lake front site. No cell coverage on our Sprint phones (talked to a few people and found out best signal is ATT). Saw lots of wildlife including many deer does and fawns and 2 bucks. Contrary to opinions on here, I loved the curvy, hilly roads. Being from Florida, I enjoyed driving the roads in my car and was just extra careful when in my class A pulling a toad. Nice pool and recreation area. We camped at Beech Fork State Park in a Motorhome.
