Central State Park at Lake Arcadia, Edmond, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We came upon Arcadia lake upon the suggestion of another RV park that was full, which turned out to be a good thing. This is a beautiful park with well paved roads and a beautiful lake. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Park was exceptionally clean and the bathrooms were also well maintained. The showers were a perfect temperature. We moved to a lakeside spot after everyone left on Monday and paid $19 for the premium spot. Like others have said, the only downfall is the lack of hydrants. We filled ours tank before going in so it was not a problem. We camped at Central State Park at Lake Arcadia in a Motorhome.

Ellis Lakeside Campground, Ellis, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here for just an overnight stay on our way home. We ended up not leaving Ellis till 1:00 the next day. The campsites are very long and spacious with both 30 and 50 amp hookups available. The showers were spacious and clean. The Wi-Fi was free and fast. We stopped by the train museum and ended up staying all morning and then topped it off with a miniature train ride that the kids loved. Probably the best place to camp on 70 west of Salina. We camped at Ellis Lakeside Campground in a Motorhome.

Mueller State Park, Divide, Colorado

Overall Rating:

Our favorite park to visit. Sites are large with lots of trees and several sunny sites if you like that better. Great trail system to go hiking in outstanding scenery. Bathrooms were clean and the park is well maintained. Just a great park. We camped at Mueller State Park in a Motorhome.

Shady Grove Campground, Seibert, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

As others have stated, you are basically in the owners yard in a neighborhood. The sites are very close together and cramped. There was about 3 feet from our camper to the next slide out. We were charged $30 with a good Sam discount. Was surprised after reading that most were charged $18. Definitely not worth the $30. The bathroom was clean and the wifi did work, but dropped you often. We camped at Shady Grove Campground in a Motorhome.
