We stayed here for one night mainly to recharge our batteries and fill up our water tank because we were going to be camping without any hookups for the next few nights. The park is in a noisy location just off main roads and we ran our air conditioner all night to drown out the racket. It was cheaper than the other two camping choices in town. The bathrooms were clean and we used the showers. The women who checked us in were nice. It's close to groceries and gas stations. It served its purpose to have a place to sleep and get squared away for the next part of our trip.

We stayed here for two nights and it was lovely, far from the bustle of tourist-y Yellowstone. There are lots of trees and the sites are fairly level. We moved here after one night at the rv parking lot that is Fishing Bridge CG and were happy to give up full hookups for real camping. The vault bathrooms were very clean and well supplied. The campground hosts were on top of everything, including a black bear and her two cubs that came through one evening. We'd stayed here about 25 years ago and were delighted to find it was as good as we'd remembered it.

We stayed here on our way home from Yellowstone. The park and the facilities were clean. However, Baker City is having a problem with cryptosporidium in the water, a parasite that makes you sick. So there was no water hookup available and there was no break in the price. They could have offered free wifi at least. One thing I had not seen mentioned in previous reviews is that there are train tracks near by and the train whistles were loud. If we had to do over again, we probably would have driven the extra half hour to Union Creek Campground (NFS).
