Sky Mountain Resort RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Owner is Very helpful and great at getting rigs parked. I observed him directing several back ins and he nailed it every time. The site was entirely gravel but was level. Utilities worked very well. Wifi was not strong all the time but ok the brief time or 2 I used it. We did use the laundry facility and it was extremely clean. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Ride the train for sure. Chama is ok but limited in dining and shopping options. The drive up to Pagosa Springs is nice and scenic with more dining and shopping available.

Angel Fire RV Resort, Angel Fire, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $68.00
Overall Rating:

Can't say one bad thing about this park - utilities were great, pad size great and pad level great. The Cable and Wifi were very good. The scenery is incredible and the park landscaping is impeccable. A pool would have made me rate it a 10. We camped at Angel Fire RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Out of season you can ride the ski lift to the top of Angel Fire Ski Resort and ride it back down or take mountain bike trails on a rental bike. We enjoyed the views from the top.

Goulding's Lodge & Campground, Oljato-Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful views from the park. Well maintained and great staff. Easy to enter and leave. Laundry was well maintained. I would have rated a 10 were it not for the stray dogs that visited every evening around dinner. That kept us from enjoying a meal outside. We camped at Goulding's Lodge & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The Gouldings grocery store on site was very convenient and carried all needs. Food at the restaurant on site was very good and very reasonably priced for the oversize portions.

Circle B RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 6 nights the last week of June. Our site was level and very large with plenty of room to park beside the 5th wheel. The park has some trees and paved roads. Access in and out was good. Owners were very helpful with local recommendations on sites to see. We would stay here again without question. We camped at Circle B RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Aside from all the shops in Ruidoso do visit the Pistachio farms/winery's in Tularosa. White Sands in Alamogordo is a must as well.
