Eagle RV Park, Thermopolis, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This is an old KOA campground with old infrastructure. It is very close to maneuver & parking a tow can be an issue. However, the owners were very accommodating. We arrived without reservations; some shifting around occurred so we could be accommodated. The site we were told to go into was an extremely tight squeeze but we managed. Trying to park our tow was initially problematic. However, we were later notified that we had been given the incorrect site # & could over over 1 slot, if we wished. We elected to stay where we initially set up but were given the adjacent site for our tow parking. The owners made every effort to make our stay satisfactory We camped at Eagle RV Park in a Motorhome.

Trailside Park Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park was nice but nothing special. Is in nice location to access many sites. No laundry on site but is satisfactory laundromat just a short walk along Mickleson Trail. Priced too high for amenities but think all in area are pricey. Very poor internet for relatively small park. We camped at Trailside Park Resort in a Motorhome.

Hot Springs KOA, Hot Springs, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground, though sites could be little more level with little more gravel, so not as muddy when it rains. Very nice owners & staff. Best internet of any commercial park we have used. KOA rates are high, as we don't use most of amenities, so usually try to avoid them. We camped at Hot Springs KOA in a Motorhome.

Salina KOA, Salina, Kansas

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Roads & campsite muddy. Some vehicles were parked in odd locations with "hauling" trailers parked close by, so maneuvering to leave the following morning was difficult. Not all personnel were cordial. We camped at Salina KOA in a Motorhome.

Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Nice RV park with friendly management, residents. Mostly people coming to spend winter during our stay. Park is convenient to most activities. We were only there for a week but will return. Appears there are lots of activities / interests in this park. During our stay there was a Halloween hot dog / potluck dinner. Some people wore costumes & there was costume contest. Residents seem compatible & enjoy the park. We camped at Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park) in a Motorhome.
