Smokiam RV Resort (formerly Soap Lake RV Resort), Soap Lake, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights (2 too many). When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation. Once they did find it, we were on our own to find the site. No maps or advice. Site was gravel and fairly level. We were tight to the RV beside us and it backed up to tent sites with NO limit on the number or people per site. 2 sites down from us was a family of 14 in a tent trailer !!! The site behind us was so small that the tenters decided to use our site to put their chairs and table on. Last time I checked I paid $53 for the site, not so someone else could use part of it. The first three rows nearest the lake are so packed with tents and vehicles that you could (if it were physically possible) walk across the roofs of them !!. Bathrooms and showers are old and outdated and only moderately clean. Better hope you have your own in your trailer. I would NOT recommend this place unless you don't mind crowded camp grounds. It should not be classified as a resort!! It's a simple campground at best. We camped at Smokiam RV Resort (formerly Soap Lake RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Silverwood RV Park and Campground, Athol, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Some of the others have complained about this park. This RV park is for convenience to come and go from the park itself, and go back to your trailer. They've made some improvements lately. It has wide enough sites to park big rigs in. No extras here but it serves it's intended purpose. It's perfect if you're here to go to Silverwood and want to be able to come back for lunch or to cool off in your trailer's AC. We camped at Silverwood RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Book early in the year. It fills up fast. The closer you can get to the park entrance the better.

Columbia Sun RV Resort, Kennewick, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We love this place. We stayed in the "super site" which is a little bit more $, but are wider and have easy paved pull throughs. Very clean, very well maintained and great staff. This is a yearly week long stop for us. Great place to relax. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
