Capilano River RV Park, West Vancouver, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

A great(and only) place to camp in Vancouver. The location is great for access to Stanley Park, downtown, buses, shopping, seawall, beaches, mountains, etc. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was despite being located right below the Lion's Gate Bridge, a main artery into the city. Proximity to the Capilano River drowned out the traffic noise. Staff were most helpful and cheerful. We camped at Capilano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Strathcona Provincial Park - Buttle Lake Campground, Campbell River, British Columbia

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful scenery for dry campers - no hookups or showers but water is available. Beach is sandy but can be a bit of a walk to water's edge depending on lake level. Lovely flat, treed sites. Great hiking, boating, fishing and fresh, clean air. We camped at Strathcona Provincial Park - Buttle Lake Campground in a Truck Camper.

Todd's RV & Camping, Peachland, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2005 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Fine if you're o.k. with a sardine can. Close to Peachland amenities and very close to your neighbour. Woman was dumping her sewage right next to our picnic table as we pulled in-yuck! TVs, music and patio lanterns far into the night. We camped at Todd's RV & Camping in a Truck Camper.
