River's Edge RV & Cabins Resort, Casper, Wyoming

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Had tried to stay here 2 years ago but our reservation was lost. Decided to give it another try this time, especially after reading all the positive reviews here. Glad we did. Very friendly reception, were given a tour of all facilities after we registered. There is a recreational room with a TV & pool table, also an exchange library & an outdoor patio with BBQ's for guests to use. Bathrooms & showers are clean. Sites are wide & level, no leveling required at all & gravel with astro turf between sites. Staff came & checked everything alright after we settled in. Had good wifi & cable. Some train noise. We camped at River's Edge RV & Cabins Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Columbia Sun RV Resort, Kennewick, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here in 2014 & found this park & staff to be excellent so chose to stay again in 2016. Everything was as we remembered & staff as pleasant & helpful. We were greeted as we drove in & after registering were escorted to our site. Sites are side by side with grass between them, level, wide & long. Bathrooms are individual rooms with shower, large & clean. Had problem logging onto internet, either the name of the park didn't come up as a choice when trying to sign in or the password didn't work. Could hear some freeway noise. We camped at Columbia Sun RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Living Forest Oceanside RV Park and Campground, Nanaimo, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here a number of times over the past 3 years. It is close to Nanaimo, located on the south side of the city, thus you are close to restaurants and grocery stores. Despite being near everything you feel as though you're far away, being very quiet at night. We enjoy staying in one of the ocean-view sites. These sites are in tiered layers facing the ocean so everyone gets a view. This park also has shaded sites which don't have the view but appear quite large and private. All the sites we've stayed in have been level, large and well cared for. The park is extremely well maintained and the staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. Pay showers and bathrooms are basic but clean. There is a a playground for the kids and a ramp so you can put your kayak in the water. They even rent kayaks if you don't have your own. You can also play beach volleyball. We'll be back, if we can manage to get a reservation at this popular spot. We camped at Living Forest Oceanside RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Phillips RV Park, Evanston, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Philips RV Park is a nice enough little park. Has level gravel sites with grass between trees for shade. Is situated between a busy road on one side and train tracks and highway on the other. Some noise but not enough to disturb us. On our arrival office was closed but had posted sign stating pick your site and register later, would be back at 4:00. Returned to register at 4:00 but no one there until 4:20. When we asked about poor cable reception at our site (#11), were told that was the only site in park with poor reception and nothing could be done. If this was known why couldn't a sign be placed on site stating this, especially when you pick your own site. I don't think we have ever had to deal with such rude behavior in all our stays at different RV parks. From our first encounter she appeared to be ticked off having to deal with customers. We may stay here again if coming this way as nothing else available and the park itself is okay. Hopefully we encounter a different person in the office. We camped at Phillips RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hardin KOA, Hardin, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This park is away from interstate so noise is not a big issue, esp. once inside RV. Some train whistles off in the distance, sounded nice. Very friendly staff, apparently new but quite helpful. Sites are gravel, long & reasonably level with some grass between & some mature trees for shade. There is a pool & hot tub but did not use. Bathroom & showers look a bit old but but are clean. There is a store attached to office with some supplies. They have tenting sites with a shelter covering the picnic tables & small cabins with a swing on the porch. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Hardin KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Country Corners RV Park and Campground , Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Country Corner RV Park in Caldwell is a small park, neat, clean and well-kept. Sites are gravel, wide, long and level with grass between all sites. All services were available except there wasn't any cable. Very pleasant, courteous and helpful staff. After setting up in our 5th we discovered the a/c wasn't working. No obvious solution. During a conversation between the park owner and my husband, we found out that an RV tech was coming in the morning & we could have him look at our a/c. Next morning the RV tech, came and had our a/c running in a very short time (a ground wire had come loose). Our huge thanks to all. We will definitely stay here again and will recommend this park to all RVers. We camped at Country Corners RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park), Baker City, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here & we'll definitely return if in the area. This is an older park with lots of mature trees. Site was big enough to get our 5th wheel with one slider parked. We were close to our neighbors, but this was no different than many other parks. What makes this park, in our opinion, is the people. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful. The lady who checked us in went out of her way to assist us. We had left a credit card at a gas station about 3 hours away & when we tried to call discovered we had no cell phone service, anywhere in the park. She let us use her phone for the numerous phone calls that were then required to rectify the problem. With her good sense & humor she was able to decrease our stress level considerably. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Western Hills Campground, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times & have to note that this park hasn't changed a bit. It is a large gravel lot with posts to mark the sites. All sites are pull through, ours was a good width & length. There is nothing at all between you & your neighbor. Wifi was free but we had poor service. Staff was friendly & helpful. Be prepared for the wind, it seems to never stop. For a one night stopover this place will do. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
