The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Our site was right on the shore of the lake and we had a beautiful view. The bathrooms were clean and not too far from our site. I believe that they would be less than a five minute walk from any of the sites. Although they state that their tent sites do not have electric hookups several of them did and ours was less than ten feet from an outlet which was a definite plus. I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to friends. With the lack of campgrounds in the High Point/ Greensboro area this was a convenient location for activities in the area. There are only two downsides to this campground but neither are “deal breakers.” There is traffic noise from the nearby highways; however it is almost entirely drowned out by the nature sounds in the area. They do not take reservations so it is a first come first serve facility.

Never again! Stayed here in the overflow tent area which is separate from the main campground. Seemed to be several homeless families staying in this part of the campground. Restrooms were constantly dirty (floors) due to there being so much sand in the area. There is no privacy into the changing areas for the showers. You could see into the changing area form outside, no door and no curtain to pull. No electric hookups in the overflow area and the mosquitoes are ruthless in this area. Stay here only if you have no other option.
