Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

High marks for being next to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and near downtown Estes Park. The campground itself gets low marks for dirt, rutted roads (especially during rains), no gravel left on roads or sites, dying grass between sites, and almost all sites on hills. Cannot find a level spot for picnic table and chairs next to your RV. We could not open our windows because of the dust created from cars and RVs. We camped at Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Good location for drive into Yellowstone National Park. The campground is wonderful with paved wide roads, concrete sites and concrete for picnic tables with grass between sites. Sites are set up for big rig access. Office personnel are nice and very helpful. Laundry areas were good and clean. Didn't use the restrooms or showers but would suspect them to be clean and well maintained as is everything in this park. Only thing missing was a pool. Would definitely return here. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Virginian Lodge RV Resort, Jackson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $64.00
Overall Rating:

Great location. Free bus shuttle to downtown Jackson Hole not too far from the campground. Gravel roads and sites with dying grass between sites. Tight maneuvering for a big rig but doable. Cable was fine, Wi-fi was barely usable. They charge for the location not for the campground. Use the laundry for the lodge not the one for the RVs as it is much nicer. We camped at The Virginian Lodge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Batise Springs RV Park, Pocatello, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Good for overnight stay. Long sites but access is at right angle so a little difficult for big rigs. Wasn't a problem when we stayed as it wasn't crowded. Close off the highway. Didn't use any services so can't comment on them. Management was very nice. We camped at Batise Springs RV Park in a Motorhome.
