Arbor Lodge is a must see. Downtown had several neat museums. Windmill was our favorite. Don't miss the other nice orchards around the area. Lewis & Clark was good.

Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park, Mosca, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This was a great place to see the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls. We stayed 2 nights. Bathrooms were clean and spotless. The campsite had a terrific view of the Dunes, was fun to watch the changing looks on the dunes from camper. It is a very dry arid climate, gravel sites, level sites, full hookups. Very happy with our stay in the area. even had cell service :) We camped at Great Sand Dunes Oasis RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

go do the Zapata Falls, it is a rough road 3 miles up MT. (drive 5 mph) then .5 mile hike up, terrific, worth the effort. Wear your hiking boots and walk through the water to get to see the falls.

Pikes Peak RV Park, Manitou Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

great location for seeing the area. they have free shuttle buses that stop right beside the campground, great service from the city. It did have tight spots, very doable, not lots of room for truck when unhooked, but worked fine. Staff was great. We camped at Pikes Peak RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Larkspur, Larkspur, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here because it was close to a wedding we were attending. The place is very hilly, had to back into a slot carved out of a hillside, no problem doing it, just not convenient. There was NO view dirt banks and foliage on both sides. The sewer connection was covered with dirt, had to dig it out prior to being able to hook on. Picnic table was pretty bad shape. Went to swimming pool to find it was out of order, wish they would have told us that when we checked in. They could not help it, it was struck by lightening, out of courtesy think they would tell you. It served the purpose of being close to the wedding, otherwise would not stay again. Had to walk UP hill to get to anything, showers were too far away to use easily. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Larkspur in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This was very well laid out for services, water, electric, sewer, and cable. Propane available. Nice level spots, pull-through was so nice we did not have to unhitch for the night. Used this just passing by. Would stay again. We did not use showers. We camped at Bean Pot Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cross Creek RV Park & Campground, Lake Ozark, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Would recommend only 4WD for 5th wheel and bumper pulls, very steep gravel road. Beautiful setting, although it is on a pond, not the Lake of the Ozarks. The bathrooms and showers were clean and very well kept. One of the best showers we have been in, liked the recessed floor in shower so feet and shoes dry. Swimming pool was great!! Mini golf was fun. Sites were level. Playground, basketball court, volleyball, shuffle board, game room, had live band on Friday night. Friendly staff. We had no trouble getting out, used 4WD and went slow and steady. We would stay again, we will look for campground on Lake of the Ozarks. We camped at Cross Creek RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Trails End Resort & RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great location, reason we picked it, but the RV sites were an obstacle course, need 4WD to maneuver the steep roads. There are trees in the way to get in and out of sites. The bathrooms and showers are in need of cleaning, painting, and plumbing repair. We showered in our camper, did not want to put grandkids in those showers. Water pressure was very low. Did not use the pool. We walked to the dock and swam in lake, was fantastic swimming! The docks need some repair but very nice. Lounge chairs are in need of replacement. Pedal boats do not steer (2 out of 3) still had fun. Pedal boats need to be replaced. Boats looked OK, we did not rent one so do not know how they ran. We will look for different campground on next trip, would stay again if don't find one close with access to Tablerock. We camped at Trails End Resort & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
