Lightner Creek Campground, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2007 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived on 4th of July and the owners were very helpful. When you arrive they escort you to your site and even help you set up! The owners also helped us find out where the fireworks show would be in Durango and were to see them best. The kid were welcome here as well. We liked the fact the campground was not near the highway and it was in a beautiful and quiet setting. When we left some of the staff helped my husband hookup the trailer while I was finishing laundry. We have a tricky hitch. We would stay here again. We camped at Lightner Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Walker River Resort, Smith Valley, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This park is all dirt no gravel sites, so the kids will be always dirty. The park staff was not helpful and if forgot anything you better get it before 5 because the store closes right at 5. We left early due to the crowded sites, noisy people and the loose dirt. Laundry was dirty and the change machine didn't even work.My husband wanted to fish but there was not good areas by the park at all. We camped at Walker River Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is the best park we have stayed at. It was very clean, staff was friendly . Showers were clean and private. Requires a code to enter. Very close to Yellowstone entrance. WiFi was available but you had to pay after 15 minutes of use. We will stay here again and have recommended it to friends. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mission Bay RV Resort, San Diego, California

Date of Stay: April, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is all asphalt. If you are looking for any grass or even shade it won't be here. We paid for an ocean view site. We had the view with a very high chain link fence as well. The security features ( the security gate) are good and close to the Zoo and Sea World. If you check in late hopefully you get someone that knows what they are doing. We didn't. Showers are clean but very small and not to private. We camped at Mission Bay RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Zion Canyon Campground & RV Park, Springdale, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2005 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Very busy park, showers were not clean and you had to get a token everyday to gain access to the showers. Showers were timed as well and not very private. Access to river was difficult you had to walk through other sites to access the river. Dirt not gravel sites. Crowded sites. Had difficulty park even with our old 25 ft. Great views and easy access to Zion and Springdale. Next time we will stay in Zion , less crowded and quieter. We camped at Zion Canyon Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
