Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Best KOA I have ever stayed in. Lots of shade & plenty of amenities. Right in SLC with a Trax light rail stop right across the street! You will not be sorry you used this KOA to camp in. You will lack for nothing......except maybe a river & a forest to wander in. Be sure to drive Big Cottonwood & Little Cottonwood canyon roads!! We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Tent Trailer.

Ridgway State Park, Ridgway, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $15.00

Very nice park. Well maintained. Little town of Ridgeway was great with good restaurants. Use town hall for WI-FI. It is free (no password needed) and the park next to it is great for picnics and relaxing. Laundry in town is a good one. We camped at Ridgway State Park in a Tent Trailer.

RV park was very nice and well kept up. Plenty to do here and great roads to ride. Lots of good restaurants and sights. Fishing was good and river trips were fun. During the busy season it is best to make reservations early. We camped at Hells Gate State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Swiftwater RV Park & Store, White Bird, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground. Quiet, with good views of the river. Had only 2 baths w/ showers but they were neat and clean. Laundry was clean, only 2 machines w/ dryers. Not many choices for restaurants since the town is so small (150 pop.) A good RV park to just relax in and enjoy the views. Good fishing! We camped at Swiftwater RV Park & Store in a Tent Trailer.
