Elkhart Co. / Middlebury KOA, Middlebury, Indiana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

It was a bit tight for a 65 foot length, they had to put a cone behind my unit. The water pressure was good but had a foul smell to it. Had someone knock on my door on Saturday telling me about church service they gave on Sunday. Don't like religion pushed on me, okay to do your own thing but don't pester me. Don't think I'll camp in bible country again. We camped at Elkhart Co. / Middlebury KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Did go to Yoder's in Shipshewana and bought some great pork chops and chicken breasts. Grain fed no antibiotics and very tender.

Diamond Grove RV Campground, Spruce Grove, Alberta

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Tried to set up our coach in site 150. Was sloped to front beyond auto level system tolerance. Was then moved to 159, better, but too soft for coach jacks, sank 4 inches. When we checked out, my wife tripped at entrance to office and scarped leg and knee, bruised arm and wrists. I asked office for first aid kit to no avail. They stood around looking at us like we were from Mars. There was no offer to call ambulance or offer any medical attention. They claim to be a 5 star resort....far from it. The place is owned by 4 partners who don't know anything about customer service including how to make a proper site for Big Rigs. Also, be careful when pulling into sites, the power and water and sewer services are incorrectly installed 1/3 into the gravel pad where you are supposed to park you unit. Amateurs, not worth the $54 CDN we paid per night. I asked if they plan on putting in concrete pads, you guessed it, a big NO. They have been open for 4 years, you would think they would have learned something. I would not stay here again! We camped at Diamond Grove RV Campground in a Motorhome.
