Desert Gem RV Resort, Oliver, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Arrived to find our reserved spot overtaken by neighboring rig and were asked to wait until owners returned. Refused and were offered a tight spot with a slope but not any of other unoccupied sites. Little choice so we squeezed in, then the water hook-up didn't work and we had to be connected to water in site behind us. Received a reduced rate for our troubles, but not very happy with service. (Several better sites were still unoccupied the next day.) We camped at Desert Gem RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

OK one night park. Grassy spots. Little in things to do except hiking trail.
Pictures looked better than reality. Had to cross double line on highway to get in from the west. We camped at Noah's Ark Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Golden Ears Provincial Park, Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park within one hour of Vancouver. Large campsites. One drawback was there was no power or water. We stayed here 4 nights so we needed to use a generator. They only allow 2 hours in am & 2 hours in pm for generator use. We would stay there again. We camped at Golden Ears Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park very welcoming and a great place to have fun. There are many snow birds here, and we found them both friendly and helpful. It is an easy few steps to the desert to enjoy the numerous birds and cacti. There is really great entertainment here as well as game nights etc. I would highly recommend for both long and short stays. This place will grow on you. We camped at Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
