Indian Line Campground, Brampton, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is a municipal campground. Staff were a bit allergic to lawnmowers. Bathrooms were either dirty or out of supplies. Easy access to park with our unit, Good fire pit. We were warned by a seasonal camper to be careful about backing in too far on our site or we would get stuck. We wouldn't stay again. We camped at Indian Line Campground in a Motorhome.

Scott's Tent and Trailer Park, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground, great access to the bus system to take us to the Falls and other tourist attractions. Back in sites, no problem getting in. A bit noisy from the strip joints across from the campground, but not at all a reflection on the campground itself. We would definitely stay here again. Nice helpful staff, good store, WiFi was weak. We camped at Scott's Tent and Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Parry Sound KOA, Parry Sound, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campsite, but a little tight for a 40 ft. motorhome. Way overpriced compared to any campground we have stayed at during out trip across Canada. Lots of things to do for kids (we didn't have any), but our experience is that the KOA's are overpriced anywhere. Good for an overnight stay, but we wouldn't pay $70 a night for water and power with no sewer hookup again. We camped at Parry Sound KOA in a Motorhome.

Glenview Cottages & Campground, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $50.00

Easy pull through campsites. There was a torrential downpour when we arrived, and some sites were flooded. We asked to move and were accommodated by very helpful staff. Washrooms were clean. We camped at Glenview Cottages & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Campground, Swift Current, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for one night one our way through to the east coast of Canada. It was adequate for our stay, nothing fancy, but the washrooms and showers were clean. It was right next to a highway, so a little noisy, but for one night it was fine. Easy access to our site, but rather cramped with not much space between sites. We would stay here again. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.

Rainbow Falls Provincial Park, Rossport, Ontario

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground, we would definitely stay here again! Access for our motorhome was very tight and we did scratch up the side on the trees a bit but it was worth the stay. Very nice hiking trails to the falls. The washrooms and showers were very clean and roomy. The sites were quite private with large mature trees, which would be the only drawback if you like sun as you wouldn't get any until late in the morning. Overall, a very pleasant experience. We camped at Rainbow Falls Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Rock Garden Campground, Richer, Manitoba

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground! The owner's were very nice and helped out when required. Access to the site was very easy, with large wide turns. The bathrooms were a bit dated, but were clean. Nice fire pits, grass was very well kept, lots of activities for children and adults, including mini-putt course, playgrounds, horse shoe pits and pool. I would see the owner cleaning the pool every morning. We would stay at Rock Garden again! We camped at Rock Garden Campground in a Motorhome.

Dyer Straits Campground and Cabins, White City, Saskatchewan

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is absolutely filthy. The bathrooms and showers were disgusting, the garbage collectors in front of the bathrooms were flowing over on to the ground. The owners were pleasant enough, but appeared to be allergic to a lawnmower, the grass was a foot tall. The motorhome in the lot next to us appeared to be abandoned and was sunk up to the axles in the grass/swamp. The turns for the motorhome were very tight. The WiFi didn't work at all. I would never stay there again. We camped at Dyer Straits Campground and Cabins in a Motorhome.
