June Lake RV Park, June Lake, California

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Very, very friendly owners. Arrived lateish, but not a problem. A good mixture of regulars and tourists like myself. June Lake seems to be a good spot to explore the whole area, much quieter than Mammoth which is only a fifteen minute drive away. Again the owners of this site made a big impression on us for the warmth of their welcome. We camped at June Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pinto Lake Park, Watsonville, California

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We were a family on holiday from Ireland in a hired camper, and the welcome we were given was warm and genuine. We were given helpful hints on things to do locally and how to plan our trip around California. I have camped all over Europe over many years, and I have to rate Pinto Lake as one of the best if not the best, mainly due to the host and the extra mile she went for us to make our stay memorable. We camped at Pinto Lake Park in a Motorhome.
