Fairmont Hot Springs Resort RV Park, Fairmont Hot Springs, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I would pass on staying at this campground until all of the restorative construction work needed due to the 2012 flood is complete. Construction starts early in the morning (nothing like being woken at 7am on a Saturday morning by a screeching track hoe) and lasts all day, even on weekends. All but the newest sites have awkward sewer connection placements which may be in unreachable or require connections under the unit. Avoid the older section (yellow on their site map) as the water pressure is very poor and it is better to run off internal tanks. We camped at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wright's Beach Camp RV Park, Penticton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Good location. Most sites experience highway noise. Fairly dusty. The power is intermittent in some areas of the site. The newer area lacks shade and is subject to winds. Beach access is un-matched in the area (Banbury is good but rocky). The periodic wafting of sewer smells reminds me of visits to Thailand. Pets are extra. We camped at Wright's Beach Camp RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
