I don't think I have ever given a 10 to an RV site before but this is one that certainly deserves it. It is a small site, off Hwy 1 on a rise and it also has cabins. The park's Swiss owners have created amazingly charming surroundings. There are flower boxes everywhere, red geraniums spilling out of boxes on the immaculate grounds!! a small play area for children including a big deck box full of toys, books for kids. The laundry room, shower/bathroom areas are incredibly clean. There is a large central fire pit area an there are patio swings. The lawns are well kept and all the walkways and pads are graveled and raked after each camper. It was such a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this site as a central hub from which to explore the Shuswap Lake area. We camped at ViewPoint RV Park & Cottages in a Motorhome.

Canyon Hot Springs Resort, Revelstoke, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $36.00

Beautiful setting and nice looking sites. However, the pool is extra and it's about $13.95for a 24 hr pass or $9.95 for a single day use, in addition to the camping fee. Also, it's disappointing that there is no WiFi available. I think that it doesn't quite meet the hype but it's a nice park to stay in. We camped at Canyon Hot Springs Resort in a Motorhome.

Holiday Park Resort, Kelowna, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $70.00

This park is extremely overpriced. Yes, it has 3 pools and amenities but everything is tired and worn out looking. The showers/bathrooms are small and cramped. The sites are cheek by jowl and there is very little privacy or noise abatement between units. Also, it closes at 9:00pm!!! So if one is not a member, you have to get out of your car, call the security guard, wait for him to get there to be let in. I would expect that for the price and for the number of units in this park that they would have around the clock gate security staff. Personally, I would give this park a pass. We camped at Holiday Park Resort in a Motorhome.
