Sunrise RV Park, Texarkana, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Clean park convenient to I-30. Clean air-conditioned bath house-among the best we've seen. We've stayed here on a couple of occasions, as an overnighter. Kinda tricky to follow the road to get there. Turn right before the Flying J and follow the road that says "no trucks", or something like that. We would stay here again. We camped at Sunrise RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Current River Campground, Van Buren, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for several nights over the busy 4th of July holiday. The service was excellent, friendly personnel were very visible and pro-active. Upon check-in, they will lead you to the slot, and give a quick orientation. Bath house is very clean, it is located on the lower level of the clean and well stocked office/ store. Easy access to the Current River for floating. New picnic tables, plenty of trees, overall a clean campground. Some of the camp grills are tilted due to erosion under their concrete base, ours was level. Not a whole lot to do at the campground other than camping and enjoying the river. AT&T cell phone coverage was pretty good, not much wifi, no cable, and no reception of broadcast TV to speak of. For a campground on the river, for two persons, I didn't find the overall price per night unreasonable. (they charge a per-night site fee, plus a per-night per person fee). This campground caters to RVs and tent camping. We would stay here again. We camped at Current River Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wilson H Fox COE, Granger, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

What a neat park! We camped during the week, and seemingly had the place to ourselves. We have a 26 ft travel trailer, back-in slot that had plenty of room for the tow vehicle. Wide-open park with strategically placed trees, our slot had perfect evening shade. Each site has a nice shade structure over the concrete pad and sturdy picnic table. Lots of Cave Sparrows keeping busy. Beautiful little lake that is perfect for the newbie kayakers that we are. AT&T cell coverage was spotty at times- fine by me! Bath houses are clean, but are older and could do with an upgrade. A friendly and diligent staff, we saw their little yellow scooter all over the park! We will definitely come back. We camped at Wilson H Fox COE in a Travel Trailer.
