Love, love, love this place!! Beautiful pool with a splash area for toddlers, lovely new pavilion, camp store, and roomy sites. Great cycling and jogging on the beautiful Back Country Trail. Easy accessibility to wonderful restaurants. I rode my bicycle to the beach!! Great place!! Senior discounts available. We camped at Gulf State Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain Lakes Resort, Langston, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

There are people who like Mountain Lakes "resort" and people who do not. We fall in the latter category. There is nothing interesting to do here if you don't fish. The sites are crammed together to the point that our next door neighbor could not open his car's passenger door without hitting our RV. This place is not big rig friendly as the streets are very, very narrow with sharp turns. This campground is built beside a lake, but there are no actual lakeside sites. There are a few sites across a street from the lake, but most have a water view. When we were there, many of the trailers seemed empty for days on end. This place really creeps me out!! Not a fan of Mountain Lakes and we will never camp there again. We camped at Mountain Lakes Resort in a Motorhome.
