The staff were very friendly and we even got a choice of a cookie when we checked in. We were escorted to our spot and the escort was very helpful while we best located our trailer in the spot. A little mowing was in order but they may not have been able to if there was recent rains. Frankly, I would have rated this park much higher had it not been for an obviously long term park resident. I would post a picture if I could. There was a Hitchhiker parked behind us that would surprise me if it was road worthy. It was covered in mold stains, the front compartment door was rotted out, there were no fender skirts on the wheels. In short it was an EYESORE! It spoiled an otherwise awesome view of beautiful Colorado mountains. Were I to stay there again I think I would look at my spot before accepting it. Had I done that and not had the view we had, I may have enjoyed it more.

This is a nice clean park. The spaces are very tight and it was full to near full. It was convenient to do some sightseeing and visit with some family in the area.

I am surprised that this park was accepted into the KOA system as it has almost none of the amenities you would normally expect from a KOA yet was priced comparable to most KOAs. The office is a temporary building. There is no cable, the wifi is OK but not great, no kids area, no doggy park although it is "under construction", and, worst of all, no ICE. This is west Texas after all. The 2 stars on cleanliness comes from all the trash and garbage around the edges of the park (such as beans, sliced cheese, avocados, charcoal ashes). Walking the dogs was an adventure making sure they did not get into other folks leavings. We stayed 3 nights this time as there were some things of interest we wanted to see in El Paso. The location is convenient to I-10 and we might stay here again for one night only unless there are some amenities to go with the price being paid. Otherwise you get as much ambiance in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

This park continues to be a favorite. It is a fairly quiet (depending on how far you are from the highway) park that is peacefully scenic. The facilities are topnotch and very well maintained.

Used this park for a 2 night stay. I felt that short term stay folks were not placed in very favorable spots. The spaces are so tight that when your slides are out and your neighbors slides are out you have at most 4 feet between units. No room for a picnic table or chairs in between. Overall the park is not bad but I will not let them place me in these spaces again should we pass thru here again.

Spent 3 months here as a snowbird. After perhaps half our time here we discovered that the park has a number of unfriendly permanent residents. Most were very friendly, the few that weren't rather spoiled the experience. The park itself is clean, laid out relatively well and the management was responsive to problems. There are many activities in the club house as well as shuffleboard and a pool/hot tub.

We stay at this park often as our daughter lives in Leander. The park is always clean, and the staff always friendly. The park is not far from shopping and a park/ride if you want visit Austin. There is a nice playground for the kids, and like all KOAs now a doggy park, as well. I feel their rates are a bit high, but it is very conveniently located.

This park is overall quite pleasant. Our one complaint was the noise and prevents me from giving it a 10. The park seems to be on the flight path of small aircraft, there is a train track nearby and I-35 is close and carries an incredible amount of truck traffic at all hours. As long as you are buttoned up, the noise is not too bad for sleeping unless you are a light sleeper.

Not a bad place for a short stay. Other than hookups, there are NO amenities. The sites are fairly level. No idea often it is mowed, but it could have used it when we were there. There are no restroom or shower facilities. Campground uses a self check-in process and reservations are informal when you call, no card info taken. I cannot imagine this campground ever being full enough to worry.
