Lazydays RV Campground, Seffner, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park. All sites are back-in concrete and utilities are well maintained. The restaurant is a wonderful convenience and very reasonable. My absolute only complaint is that they could mow the grass more frequently. We will definitely return! We camped at Lazydays RV Campground in a Motorhome.

L & D RV Park, Forsyth, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is great place for overnight. It is close to I-75. The park is quiet and clean. It is easy in and easy out. Our site was gravel, level, and long enough to keep our car hooked up behind our 43' MH. We would stay here again. We camped at L & D RV Park in a Motorhome.

Barkcamp State Park, Belmont, Ohio

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was a convenient one night stop on the way to Columbus. There is only electric, but there are several water fill stations. We were not able to get level on our initial site, 16, and a road sign could have been an issue with our slides. Staff was very accommodating with allowing us to change to site 22, which was level and had no obstructions. The interior roads are a bit challenging and it would be helpful to have site numbers listed instead of just loop area. We camped at Barkcamp State Park in a Motorhome.

Gettysburg Campground, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This is a family owned Campground and it shows. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool and well maintained mini golf course. The dog area was not fenced. Our site was spacious and open, which we prefer for satellite reception. There are quite a few permanents. We camped at Gettysburg Campground in a Motorhome.

It is a short drive to the Gettysburg Visitor Center. We took the tour with the National Park Service guide driving our car. It was 3 hours of amazing and sobering facts.

Cherry Hill Park, College Park, Maryland

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $63.00
Overall Rating:

We love this park! We camped here because it is a convenient place for seeing D.C. The cg info sheets were great. They have info sessions for tours and metro travel, a huge help! We took the night tour offered by the cg and the guide was fantastic. We bought metro passes at the cg info session and got all sorts of useful tips. The metro station is about 5 miles, but metro buses do stop at the cg. The cafe had a nice menu and came in very handy after a full day of sight seeing. The dog areas are nice but not fenced. We used the dog walker when we took the night tour and she left a little note about "business" accomplished and even turned on the porch light for us. The staff are helpful and friendly. We would definitely camp here again. We camped at Cherry Hill Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We also used an advertised doggy daycare facility. It was 4 miles and on the way to the metro station. Our little guy came home exhausted after a full day of non-kennel play.

The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Carolina Crossroads has easy access from I95. There is a great fenced dog area and a nice pool. Our site was on the end of the row so we had a fairly large grassy area. The temps were 90+ degrees and we had no electric issues. (We have 3 a/c units). You do need to travel to the next exit for restaurants and groceries. When it rains the gravel sites are a mess. We would request a concrete p/t if we return. Satellite reception was great. There are lots of permanents in this Campground. We camped at The RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads in a Motorhome.

Mayberry Campground, Mount Airy, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

There is easy access from I74. This is a pretty Campground. The sites are gravel, level, and spacious. The staff at this family-owned Campground was friendly and helpful. We had to move sites because we chose to spend 2 extra nights. The second site, #83 was long enough for our 43' motor home and tow car. WiFi was down the entire time we were here due to a storm the week before. There are no picnic tables at the sites, but there are several very nice pavilions with easy access from all sites. Cable TV was excellent with many choices. Passoirt America was accepted for 2 nights. We would camp here again. We camped at Mayberry Campground in a Motorhome.

Double Nickel Campground, Waco, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful and well maintained campground. Lots of shade although we chose an open site for our satellite. This park has a pristine pool, miniature golf, dog park. There are porch swings scattered throughout the park. Only drawback is you either need to be prepared food-wise or unhook your vehicle, as there is nothing within walking distance. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely camp here again. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

Boulder County Fairgrounds, Longmont, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here 5 nights. The staff was extremely friendly. The showers were clean and the sites, although close, we're adequate. The entire campground was dirt so either dusty or muddy, depending on weather. Our RV is 38' long. The campground has great access to walk/bike trails, shopping, and restaurants. We would camp here again. We camped at Boulder County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Johnny Appleseed Campground, Fort Wayne, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a pretty little county park with friendly hosts. It is close to absolutely everything, including beautiful bike trails. Our site was a little too shaded, and we couldn't get the satellite to work, but the local stations came in great with the antenna. Cable and sewer would be a nice addition and are the only reason I didn't rate it a 10. We camped at Johnny Appleseed Campground in a Motorhome.
