Ozarks Mountain Springs RV Park, Mountain View, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We called 5 days before we were planning to be there. We wanted a 2 bedroom with full kitchen & wanted to stay 3 nights. The guy who took our reservation said that it may be reserved but he had another one if it was.

When we got to the campground, they put us in a small 'cabin' that had no kitchen & some awful, uncomfortable beds. There was NO internet at all. The bathroom was very small & the toilet & shower were both up on small platforms that made it very uncomfortable to use the toilet. The AC was in the front area & took hours to get it cool all the way back to the bedroom.

When we complained about it, the man wanted to give us our money back (we only paid for 1 night) so "we could get on down the road". This was at 4 pm on Friday of Labor Day weekend. There were no other places available in that area at that time. We stayed the one night & left early on Saturday morning.

We will not stay there ever again. We camped at Ozarks Mountain Springs RV Park in a Cabin.

Casper East RV Park, Casper, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This park is filthy! When we got to the narrow piece of ground that was our site, there was a coffee can full of cigarette butts & packs sitting on our 'patio'. There was a waist high tree growing out from under the concrete. The sewer connection didn't fit tightly, so when lightning knocked out the power at 9 pm, we smelled sewer after that. The power never came back on before we left. And, yes, the trains were very noisy for most of the night. We won't stay there again. We camped at Casper East RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Fort Collins North / Wellington KOA, Wellington, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I should have read the reviews before we came here! We got here today around noon. People in the office were nice & helpful. Most of the RV's here are being lived in on a full time basis. And yes, they are older models with lots of things around them that looks tacky. But the most atrocious thing about this park is the smell!! Oh my goodness! It is so horrible. There definitely isn't a mention of the feed lot being in close proximity to the campground. Stay here if you must, but if the wind changes direction you may lose your supper. We camped at Fort Collins North / Wellington KOA in a Travel Trailer.
