Blackwater Falls State Park, Davis, West Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park! The natural wonders are amazing! There is hiking and swimming in the lake. You can also rent kayaks or small paddle boats. There was a nature center, playground and fishing. The camping facilities were spacious and well maintained. We had a site with electricity. There is common water spigots at various locations. It does have a dump station and water station. We were able to buy firewood and ice on site. We camped at Blackwater Falls State Park in a Truck Camper.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a lodge about two miles from the campground within the park. We had a really good BBQ lunch. We also visited the nearby town of Davis and had a nice breakfast and lunch. There was also a Stop and Save for supplies.

Battle Row Campground, Old Bethpage, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was clean and quiet. It is centrally located in Nassau county. We didn't realize that there are no ground fires allowed. We would have had to bring our own fire bowl and wood. We will definitely camp here again. It was a positive experience! We camped at Battle Row Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful campground with nice shaded sites. Its very secluded. The play ground was great and it had a nice looking pool. It was a little cool for swimming. We will definitely stop in again while in the area! We camped at Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA in a Motorhome.
