This place was a pleasant surprise. The sites were roomy, and well-maintained. The grounds were nicely landscaped, restrooms spacious and clean. A welcome respite after a long day of driving.

The staff here are very welcoming. In fact, there were homemade cookies in the office for guests when we registered. We stayed here on our way in and on our return trip. The campground has a lot of sites, so rigs are spaced well. The only problem we had was the narrowness of the sites and trees separating them. We had to park carefully to accommodate our slides.

We truly enjoyed this place! We planned to stay for a few days and ended up staying for a month! The owners are amazing. When I said I was going to catch halibut, the owner offered to cook my catch (three ways). It was fantastic. We were there over the 4th of July and enjoyed a great potluck dinner. The picnic tables and fire pit are in a common area - a great way to meet people, unless you are a curmudgeon! When we mentioned that we wanted to go clamming, we were offered use of clamming gear. After we brought home our catch, the owner was kind enough to show us how to clean the clams! (Not an easy task for a newbie!) The view here is spectacular, right across the Cook Inlet with Mount Redoubt and Iliammna in sight. The location is perfect for day trips to Homer. We had no problems with dogs, sewer or anything else. Would definitely stay here again.
