Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg KOA, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

I thought the price was way too high. The sites were shady, clean, and nice. Pool was nice and well-kept, and it was in a great location. We would stay there again but want to try someplace new next time. A nice place but I still thought it was too high and we saw some campgrounds while we were there that were priced considerably less and just as nice. We camped at Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Diamond Caverns RV Resort and Golf, Park City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The place is in need of a facelift. I think it is the best campground in the Mammoth Cave Area but it has some issues. The children's play area is a danger zone and should be closed down. We were led to believe it was a place where our toddler could play but it was way too dangerous with broken boards, bridges, and swings. Also, the putt-putt golf area is in a state of disrepair. We camped at Diamond Caverns RV Resort and Golf in a Travel Trailer.

Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort, Panama City Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The campground facilities were very nice. The pool and play area were clean and nice. I would like to say I did not find the staff to be very accommodating or friendly, especially with younger children. I was disappointed in the distance to the beach and the zoo next door did get stinky. I would look for another campground next time. We camped at Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Deer Run RV Park, Troy, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

The owners are very friendly and the campground is very well kept. It is a great place to stay if you are on your way to Panama City Beach. We have a toddler and there wasn't much for him to do. The pool is small but clean, not steps in, only a ladder. We are hoping they get a playground for the little ones. We camped at Deer Run RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
