Hemlock Grove Campground, Arundel, Maine

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Great park. Seems they have a site to suit any size rig. Most in the trees. Friendly staff, very clean , quiet, not alot of grass, no dog park . Close to lots of action in Kennebunkport and other local attractions. Many eating establishments close. This location is easy to find. We camped at Hemlock Grove Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

New York City North / Newburgh KOA, Plattekill, New York

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This park is 11 or so miles off the interstate. Seemed a little hard to find . Therefore it was quiet. We only stayed one nite and did not use any amenities. Pour pull through was plenty long enough but not level. All sites amoung the trees. We camped at New York City North / Newburgh KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Cardinal Center Campground, Marengo, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

I called the day before and asked for a full hookup pull through . Lady said no pull through available. She said all they had left was back in . That was OK as hubby is good at that. When we went to our site we found it was water and electricity only. It was on the gravel lot along the back where the shooting range is. There was a full hookup site right behind us in the regular park in the deluxe site area. We got there at a few minutes till 5 even though the clerk told me on the phone the office was open till 6, they closed as soon as we checked in . We were only there for one nite so just made the best of it. Ur Satellite , nor the antenna got any reception at our location . Evidently they have 3 categories of sites, basic (water and electricity only) Standard, and deluxe. This was not evident on their web site. The other areas of the campground especially the deluxe sites are huge , shaded, and very nice. We saw several vacant sites here but we're not offered one. We would have paid more had we known. Don't know about the restrooms as we did not see any. This is a huge park that has a trap shooting range. Be sure you ask before reserving what your site will be. I did ask for full hookup. Oh well. We camped at Cardinal Center Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Really good home style restaurant nearby. A little confusing finding the road behind the restaurant to the RV park.

City of Florida City Camp Site RV Park, Florida City, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Most horrible dirty park we were ever in. Grass was so high we could not even find the hookups. We should have left but had driven a long day and needed to get to the Keys, so we just dry camped and left early the next day. We camped at City of Florida City Camp Site RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
