Nice staff and large, flat and level sites. All gravel, good water pressure, etc. Stayed 2 nights on a trip to Colorado. Decent restaurant across the street. Would return to this park next time we need to spend night in Rawlins. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

Pros: Friendly staff, nice lodge, dog run, decent pool. Cons: This park is in dire need of site landscaping and leveling. 6 diesel pusher rigs in our group and all sites (Pull thrus) that were very un-level. Took me 3 inches of boards height to level my rig along with my levelers. Grass/dirt area between sites so slanted that you could not use the picnic tables for fear of turning them over. Roads in the park/resort actually had "old" asphalt under all the dirt and gravel that was on top. This place needs to re-blacktop roads and install rain gutters on the edges. Will cost $$$$ but these upgrades need their attention before we would return. We camped at Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort, Sevier, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Not bad park, but rough on the edges! Do have a restaurant across the highway and not too bad. However, they advertise "gas" (which was important for us ATV'ers), but all four pumps were out of order. The problem - the lady in the office was not the least bit concerned, and indicated they had not been working for awhile?! Acted as though she could care less. We will be staying at another park just up the highway next season when all 6 motorhomes in our group return to Marysvale. We camped at Big Rock Candy Mountain Resort in a Motorhome.

Wagons West RV Park, Fillmore, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

8-30-2013. Park is now open with new owners/manager. They live in the community and are looking to rebuild this park. Close to restaurants and local market. Can ride ATV's in town (on marked streets) and to miles of ATV trails (including the Piute!!) Large pull-throughs and sites have shade trees. Less than 2 miles off I-15, 140 miles south of Salt Lake City. Don't pass this park for another! Well worth the $30. We camped at Wagons West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Canyon Vistas RV Resort (55+ park), Gold Canyon, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park now has new managers. Not like the old ones who were in the process of leaving. All trees have been trimmed (since someone had a comment). Also have new maintenance person, who along with the new managers is on top of all situations. As far as pickleball -- just tell the office when you call not to put you by there. However, all the residents are too old to play pickleball later than 8PM. the person making the comment just wanted to complain. Trash?? 95 % of trash goes in an "on site" flip top container that is picked up once per week. There are a few other large "bins" but rarely do these even contain any "wet" garbage, mostly heavy trash. Another example of someone wanting to complain! Great RESORT type park that is watched over daily by a very attentive maintenance crew! We camped at Canyon Vistas RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
