Waffle Farm Campgrounds, Coldwater, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Staff very nice to us. Wi-Fi limited and not secured. Staff indicated they were working to get a new system. They patrol the parks regularly. Restrooms and showers were cleaned daily. Not all waterfront sites have full hookups but we got one that did. Nice store and they had paddle boats and row boats to rent. No outboard motors for rent. We liked so much we are going back next year. Very nice boat launching ramp. We also enjoyed the yard sale (by seasonal residents and other campers) that took place while we were there. We camped at Waffle Farm Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Greenwood Acres Family Campground, Jackson, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is Passport America discount. The people and staff were very friendly. Hookups were good. All restrooms except the one by woodview and canal were very nice. The woodview one should be torn down and redone. Staff indicated that there was a lot of regulations to update and they were working on it. We had a waterfront site which was very nice but was not a full hookup. Would stay there again. We camped at Greenwood Acres Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Cherokee Campground, Helena, Alabama

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Passport America discount. Owner was accommodating and waited for us because we had a flat tire. Site good, bathroom OK, but only had 1 roll of toilet paper between men's and ladies. Shower in men's was good, ladies shower could have used new shower head and an update. We camped at Cherokee Campground in a Motorhome.

Singing Hills RV Park & Campground, Cave City, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Used Passport America to get rate. Owners are doing a great job of updating the campground. The sites were very good with gravel. Easy to maneuver through. Hookups well placed. There was a storm warning in the area that evening and the owners informed us where their storm shelter was. We would stay here again. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. Got our propane filled on site. We camped at Singing Hills RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
