Granite Lake Premier RV Resort, Clarkston, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one week in our 35 ft 5th wheel trailer. Had a lovely spot right on the river. Fabulous bike/walking path right in front of our RV, which went for miles. We did a lot of bike riding. Difficult back in space so the guy who showed us our RV site jumped in the truck and backed us in. Sure helped save the marriage. Place is immaculate. Lots of grass and shade trees. Spaces were a little too close together, sure wish they would space them out a bit more. The dog park is a joke. Super small. But I walked the dogs along the river for 3 miles every morning. We would stay here again. We camped at Granite Lake Premier RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Tomato Bros Pizza is within walking distance and is amazing! We dined there twice. And the Snake Dancer jet boats are the BEST.

McCall RV Resort, McCall, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week in our 35 foot 5th wheel. Our campsite was on the very top level with all the cabins. At first I was rather upset but soon found out it was much quieter up there, so I am glad we were there. The river can be accessed on lower level and the trail is very nice, altho short. Lots of grass and trees. A lovely bike path close by that takes you into town. Fabulous Farmers Market on Wed and Sat from 10-2. This park is very nice. We would definitely come again. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Hagerman RV Village, Hagerman, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here in 35 ft 5th Wheel for one week. Campsites grassy with some shade trees. Laundry facilities good. Can walk to town, altho not much in the town. It was a good central place for seeing all the sights. Downside to campground is that no place to walk dogs, unless you let your dogs do their business on other campers spaces. Smell of cows very strong. Some road noise. Very messy business next door with machines, trucks etc... This campground doesn't have a lot of ambiance. Most likely would not camp here again. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground, Cloverdale, California

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beware of a very steep hill on drive up to park. They could not find our reservation so they squeezed us into a very tight space around the pool area. Extremely difficult to back in a 35 foot trailer. There was no privacy as trailers were virtually on top of each other. Promised us a picnic bench, but never delivered. Park has several levels and all the really nice spots taken by the regulars. Lovely views is about all I can say that is good. Will not stay here again. We camped at Dutcher Creek RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Shelter Cove RV Park & Campground, Shelter Cove, California

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

First of all, the 22 mile drive from Hwy 101 to this place is a real nail biter, especially pulling a 35 foot trailer. This town is a fishing village and if you don't fish ( we didn't) there is nothing to do. Campground is dismal as there are really no designated sites. No trees. We did not use the facilities except laundry and the washer and dryer were very old and rusty. Weather cold and foggy. We planned on staying for 6 nights but left after 3. Never again. We camped at Shelter Cove RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Knox Butte RV Park, Albany, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This place should really be disclosed as a trailer park versus an RV park. Many more long term spots versus vacationing RVers. Very disappointing sites. We reserved a pull through but ended up with a back in. We will never stay here again. We cut our stay short. Only positive comment is that the office lady was very nice. We camped at Knox Butte RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
