Penn Lake Park Campground, Marathon, Ontario

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice municipal park next to a picturesque lake. All the facilities are quite new, clean and we'll maintained. Next to a swimming beach children' spark. Lots of room between the back-in sites, with a few trees for privacy. Cable TV has about fifty channels, is included at no extra charge and carries the US networks. We stayed in mid-Sept and not many folks here then. We would really like to stay here in the future! We camped at Penn Lake Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Graham's Island State Park, Devils Lake, North Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful State Park with a brand new "RV" section with full hookups. We spent a couple of days here in mid-Sept. So things were very quiet, but I suspect it gets very busy in the summer. It's about 15-miles outside The town of Devils Lake. We camped at Graham's Island State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cottonwood Campground (NPS Campground), Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

A wonderful back to nature experience. Buffalo wander through the campground. Sites have privacy, but it's hard to find a site after mid-afternoon. Would surely return here if our travels ever take us that way again. We camped at Cottonwood Campground (NPS Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Steel Wheel Campground, Deadwood, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Showers and laundry nicest we've ever encountered. Campsites very clean, well maintained and nicely spaced. Lots of vehicle noise during the day from nearby highway, but quiets down at night. Convenience store with gas next campground. We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Steel Wheel Campground in a Travel Trailer.
