Dakota Ridge RV Park, Golden, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

This probably once was a great park, but it is getting pretty run down. The location is good. The roads within the park have lots of potholes. They do not have cable TV -- an almost unheard of situation these days for an RV park in the middle of a city that is rated by Good Sam's as a "10"!! The folks at registration were not all that friendly. Basically, we were very disappointed. We have kids in Denver now, but we will certainly look for a better alternative next time. We camped at Dakota Ridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mesa Verde RV Resort, Mancos, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

First of all, if you are going to Mesa Verde NP, there's not a more convenient place to stay. The RV Park is within a mile of the entrance and the Visitor's Center (just across the highway). The sites are nice and the staff is fantastic!! The WiFi is OK, but not great, but, that being said, we were able to watch our college football live, streaming on ESPN 3. We've stayed lots of places. This is one of the more enjoyable for us!! We camped at Mesa Verde RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground, Elko, Georgia

Date of Stay: November, 2013 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We only stayed one night, but were very impressed with this park. It's definitely a great place to stay for those traveling north or south on I-75. It is very clean and neat and the people are quite friendly and accommodating. It's just off the interstate, but was quiet. We camped at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Big Red Barn RV Park, Carthage, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

The people here were very friendly and helpful. For some reason, the cable did not work initially at our site, but the staff came to our unit and worked it out so that we could watch the college football game we wanted to see. This is not necessarily a place to stay for days and weeks since there aren't a lot of amenities, but for a day or two, it's very comfortable. We have absolutely no complaints! We would recommend it to others who are traveling. We camped at Big Red Barn RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2013 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed in this park numerous times. It is an absolutely great place to stay when you visit Seattle. It is very quiet, especially at night, to be so close to the city. It is about as easy to get into the city from here as from anywhere. Seattle traffic is bad, especially around the rush hours. But, this park is so pleasant. Nice walking and biking areas. A great grocery store within easy walking distance. Loads of nearby restaurants: both fast food and nice sit-down restaurants. Woodinville and the wine tasting area is real close. The only negative, and its a minor one, is that the WiFi is not very good and you have to pay extra for it. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park, Anchorage, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have been to Alaska numerous times. This is the place to stay in Anchorage, in our opinion. It's as nice a park as you will fined in Anchorage. It's within walking distance of the Saturday market and the downtown museum. The big attraction for us is that during much of the summer (when we have been here) the salmon are running in Ship Creek and we enjoy watching the locals fishing in the evenings. There's a nice place for walking in the evening. The train tracks are adjacent to the park, but the last train arrives around 8 in the evening and there's no traffic on the rail after that. We camped at Anchorage Ship Creek RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
