Santee State Park, Santee, South Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a wonderful park located right on the Santee Lakes. Plenty of hiking and biking trails and great out of the way places to just go off and find your own private fishing or swimming hole. The Rangers are very helpful and easy to deal with We camped at Santee State Park in a Motorhome.

Springwood RV Park, Greenville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: January, 2007 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This site being centrally located in Greenville, was the only reason I stayed here after I saw the place. There were permanent mobile homes right along side of the RV spaces and it was very unsightly over the whole park. It doesn't look like they enforced the "no garbage stored outside" rule. The owners were friendly enough, but this place needs Martha Stewart bad! We camped at Springwood RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: August, 2006 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great park. It has pretty much everything you want or need onsite here and even a convenience store or 2 within easy walking distance. This is a very clean and well maintained park. They enforce the 10 mph rule very effectively. The fenced in off leash dog run is absolutely wonderful too, it was bigger than I expected, about 400x50 maybe. The staff was very friendly. I dont think you can go wrong here. The fishing pond was also much bigger than I had anticipated, usually when a campground advertises a fishing pond, its a little dinky thing, but this one was huge. I will definitely be back here when in the area We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Motorhome.
