The guy who checked us in was not friendly at all. There were about 20 open sites (some really pretty facing the river), but he parked us as far away as possible with no view, right beside the only other camper in a small camper. Felt sorry for the old guy, as we were almost on top of him with our slides. No reason to have done this. He guided us into our site, and kept yelling "come on, come on!" because he didn't think we were driving fast enough. It had some really tight turns, coming close to posts (why do they put those in there anyway?), so we were taking our time. Then he came up to our window and said "I've parked tons of rigs bigger than yours, so you don't have to worry when I say it's okay". We've been driving a 40' motor home for 8 years and know how to park without mishap. Games pavilion was quite grubby. Pretty setting along Snake River, too bad service wasn't a good experience.

Park-like setting - grass and big trees; very pretty and quiet. We found gravel sites to be quite level. We are PA, so paid half rate ($12.50). We didn't realize they had 30 amp; we chose our site based on tree location for our satellite dish, which is mounted on the roof of our motorhome. So 15 amp wasn't adequate to run more than one appliance (threw the breaker a few times), but was fine for one night. Would stay here again.

Don't come here if you are looking for peace and quiet. Right below the highway. Other than having power/water/sewer, might as well have stayed at a rest area - constant traffic noise. There are 3 different areas - grass and trees, wilderness, and gravel. We got assigned the gravel area, which wasn't great - weeds everywhere, small sites, and just plain messy looking. The grass and trees area is nice, but you may not get satellite if mounted on your roof. The wilderness area is for smaller units, and would not get satellite at all. Pool looked nice, though we didn't use. Showers were coined. Laundry room clean.

We thought this campground was really nice. Set in the coulee and beside the golf course, it has beautiful surroundings. A bit of car noise as golfers enter and exit the parking lot, but not near a highway/airport/train, so we found it to be really quiet. Our 15 amp worked fine for a/c, so not sure if they were running 30 amp through a 15 amp outlet. Other campers ran their a/c as well. No sewer or dump station, but showers and washrooms were adequate, and no fee. Sites are narrow, but long enough for our 40' motorhome. Well maintained grass and trees between sites. This is not meant to be a high-end campground, but a perk of the golf course, as you get a reduced rate at the course (stay & play), so we thought it was great. And the golf course is AWESOME. Executive length, but very challenging and beautiful.
