Smith Lake Army RV Park (Military FamCamp), Fort Bragg Army Post, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Manager at front desk is rude. DO NOT come before 3 because they will not check you in even though park is 1/2 empty. Lake only open on weekends, the price they charge is ridiculous along with the rules. You basically pay to just stand there in the water. Sites and hookups were good. We camped at Smith Lake Army RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Apache Family Campground & Pier, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Location can't be beat. Steps away from the beach and a great pier to enjoy in the evenings. We were packed in there but everyone around us was friendly. Cable, Wi-Fi (not free) and hookups were good. We camped at Apache Family Campground & Pier in a Fifth Wheel.

Weston Lake Recreation Area (Military FamCamp), Fort Jackson Army Post, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nothing around and takes at least 15 minutes to get to the base. Lake was beautiful but only had swimming area open on the weekends. Hookups were good, concrete pads but unlevel. Close to Columbia. We camped at Weston Lake Recreation Area (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Foster Creek RV Park & Villas (Military FamCamp), Goose Creek, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, level, good location with good sites. Close to Charleston. Good areas around neighborhood to walk my dog. Only downfall was laundry was not working but camp host directed us to another facility within a 1/2 mile. We camped at Foster Creek RV Park & Villas (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Lotts Island Army Airfield RV Park (Military FamCamp), Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Poorly run campground. The office staff is not on top of things and there is no campground host. One family pulled in and were told after one night they would have to move to overflow due to reservations. Four sites sat empty all weekend and those that came in had no reservations. Office was closed for 5 days (Memorial weekend) with no payment system so all those that came in for the weekend stayed free. At least it was only 15 minutes from Savannah. We camped at Lotts Island Army Airfield RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Clean, gated park. Lots of shade, with trails all around you. Less than 30 minutes from all of the attractions. Close to shops and restaurants. Level sites with good hook ups. A real steal for the Orlando area. We camped at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake in a Fifth Wheel.

Panama City CSS Family Campground (Military FamCamp), Panama City CSS Naval Center, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Was in the South side campground. It was a couple miles down the road from the base. I would been much happier on the North side which was on the base right at the marina/ beach area. Southside was clean with good pads and hook ups. We camped at Panama City CSS Family Campground (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

What a gem. Right on the Bay were you could enjoy your morning cup of coffee from the dock or your picnic table. Great pads and hook ups. Best dog walk area I have found. The friendliness of the owners makes you feel very welcome. Close to the beach, Fort Morgan, and the State Park Pier. We camped at Bay Breeze RV On The Bay in a Fifth Wheel.

Swinging Bridge RV Resort, Byram, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Not sure where the swinging bridge was. Level sites with good hook ups. Just not the greatest area. Office person wasn't very helpful and called me two days after we were there to see if we were coming. Had to go sit in office parking lot to get wifi. We camped at Swinging Bridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Couldn't really enjoy the campground because the rain and snow made it a mud pit. Had to go to the laundry room to get adequate wifi. Close to Downtown Dallas. We camped at Plantation Place RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great proximity to Big Bend, restaurants, and the town. CG is more like a big dirt parking lot, but it is dry and hot so didn't expect to much greenery. Sites were level and amenities worked well. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Cross Creek RV Park & Campground, Lake Ozark, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Good hookups and great fishing on the pond. The roads into the campground are pretty rough. Campground seems to have a lot of fun family things for the family to do however it rained most of the time we were there so we were unable to enjoy any of them. Friendly campground hosts. We camped at Cross Creek RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Casino Queen RV Park, East Saint Louis, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

There could not be a better location to tour around St Louis MO. The metro is an easy walk away or security will drive you there. We bought a week Metrolink pass ($25) and were in and out of the city with such ease. The hook ups at the campground were good. The wifi was horrible and the laundry was $3 per load. Get a spot in the 300-400 and you will have shade trees. The campground is clean and safe. Nice picnic and park area. It may look like a big parking lot but it really is a great place. We camped at Casino Queen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Campus RV Park, Independence, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Hooks worked well. Campground was clean. Location is excellent. Wifi was not good, had to use our own hotspot. This campground is in the best location. Walking distance to Independence and driving distance to so many historical attractions. Do not miss the Union Cemetery in Kansas City. We camped at The Campus RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
