Chatfield State Park, Littleton, Colorado

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is the first time that we have stayed in a Colorado State Park, and it left a good impression. The only issue was that the water was off, because of it being so late in the year, but we were forewarned. It sits above the Chatfield Reservoir, and all the roads were paved and the sites were concrete pads. It is a beautiful area and very quiet. We used our TV antenna and received 10 stations, and the WiFi worked well. We would definitely stay here again, and will look at other Colorado State parks to stay in. We camped at Chatfield State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: November, 2014 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park in a pretty area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a Bar-B-Que restaurant just up the road that serves some of the best brisket and pulled pork that I have ever eaten. Everything worked well, including the WiFi and cable TV. The only complaints I had were some truck traffic noise at night, and the sites are a little small. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pueblo South / Colorado City KOA in a Travel Trailer.
