Silverton Lakes South (formerly A & B RV Park), Silverton, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Top reasons to stay at A&B: 1) location. Located in the center of town. Sure, Silverton is small, but just 1 - 2 blocks away are restaurants, Montagna's Distillery and shops. 2) friendly folks. I have stayed here before and always feel good with these folks. My stay was somewhat open-ended and I had only booked 3 days with them but ended up staying 8 days (and my rate was adjusted to the weekly rate) but no problems! The park is not fancy but the views are great! We camped at Silverton Lakes South (formerly A & B RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Junction/North Llano River RV Park, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Delighted with this campground. Clean, secure (gates with pass code), Wi-Fi, large pull-thru sites, and covered patios with tables and chairs at the sites! Convenient to Hwy 10. It is just 1/2 mile or less off the freeway but no freeway noise that I can recall. All the folks here are very friendly, too. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Carlsbad KOA, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

After reading a few of the reviews (bad odor in the evenings and stickers/burrs in the pet run area) we thought about not calling in a reservation, but we were glad we stayed here. Everyone was very friendly and we found only a few stickers/burrs but more in some of the grassy areas. We did not find it to be much of a problem and we found the entire park to be beautifully maintained and exceedingly pleasant! A bit far from the caverns but believe it is still the nicest campground in the entire area. Level and large sites, good electric, picnic tables and some sites have large patios (at an extra price). We camped at Carlsbad KOA in a Motorhome.
