Deer Lodge KOA, Deer Lodge, Montana

KOA should get the owner to train other KOA owners. Very well laid out and maintained. It was nice to be treated as a customer. Would stay here again and highly recommend it. We camped at Deer Lodge KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Meadow RV Park, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Well organized and maintained. Bathrooms excellent. Interior roads tight but manageable. They should cut some trees. Easy to tell which ones -- the ones with multiple places with missing bark. We saw two campers hit trees with their rig. Plenty of space between sites. Would stay here again. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Helena Campground and RV Park, Helena, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Not many choices in Helena. Was OK for a one-nighter. Make sure you stay up front by the office. The back part is for long term folks. Most expensive rundown park we have ever stayed in. I don't believe they have spent a hundred dollars on improvements in the last five years. If necessary we would stay here again. Never did meet the office person. We camped at Helena Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Didn't get to stay here. Reservations by phone only. Left two messages with our call back info. Never got a call back. They had no idea when, how long a stay we were looking for, or what type site. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Manor RV Park, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here in a 38 foot fifth wheel on the river. The golf cart guys were helpful. My wife walked back to the office to check in and pay because several trailers came in at the same time. She said she wouldn't go back to that office, lady was rude and snooty. Park in terrible condition. You need to be ready to walk through ankle deep grass around your site. Very uncomfortable walking through wet grass and it rained every day. The sewer drains are a mess. Either too high or out of round so the sewer connection could not be screwed in. Lady at the office said good luck getting a satellite to work -- us and four neighbors got excellent reception from Dish and DirecTV. Their plastic picnic table had a hole in it from someone cooking on it. They didn't replace it. I drained the rain water out of it daily. I bet it would be there next year but I won't be back to see. Would not recommend staying at this campground. Too many other good choices. Our neighbor booked next summer down the road off hwy 34 toward RMNP. We camped at Manor RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Kaibab CampeRVillage, Jacob Lake, Arizona

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here four days and would stay again. The sites were level 30-40 years ago but require some imagination now to get level. Only campground I've used where my converter kept kicking on and off, don't know what was going on with the electrical power. The laundry was one working washer and two dryers down the hill from the campground. Might be adequate for a hand full of items and a short hike. Nice friendly helpful camp hosts who made the stay nice. We camped at Kaibab CampeRVillage in a Fifth Wheel.

Bryce Canyon Pines, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here three nights, would not stay again because of possible damage to RV or vehicle. This will test your nerves for driving and trying to setup. The owner needs to cut about 25% of the trees and a lot of them could be identified by the rub marks, and chunks of missing bark. You will not be escorted to your site. I don't think they want employees to witness damage to vehicles or RVs. Office lady told us how to get to our site and knew we were pulling a 36' fifth wheel. We could have possible made the pull in as directed if we would have been pulling a 10' popup. We circled the park dragging trees down the side of our RV and came in from another direction. We had a man move his truck and he helped us into the site. We used all the plastic levelers we had from two containers and finally got level. I think the last owner money put into this camp was maybe 1956. A small amount of money leveling sites and removing trees would greatly improve this camp to a firm 10. The WiFi was great. The garbage cans and the showers are 100 yds away at the store. We camped at Bryce Canyon Pines in a Fifth Wheel.

Grants / Cibola Sands KOA, Grants, New Mexico

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

I rated this campground a 6 only because of the price. It is in no way worth $48.75 a night. Don't even consider using one of your discounts, KOA only accepted. Other than price, the campground gets a 10 in all categories. The folks are nice and will deliver a home cooked meal to your site, for only $12 to $18 a plate. Great homemade pie $4.95 a piece. The prices may have been okay for Miami Beach, but Grant New Mexico?? We camped at Grants / Cibola Sands KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Can't say enough good things about this campground. Location is best we saw while we spent five days traveling the area. We saw other camp grounds, but no other professionally run camping sites were in the area. Would definitely stay here again. Clean, quiet, grass, trees, management and workers very helpful, restaurant, store, and gas on property--don't miss the great breakfast at restaurant. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Don't count on getting a campground and site worth $43. We have stayed at many places much nicer and paid a lot less than $40. Forget your discount, the $43 includes your discount regardless of what you think you have. Turns are tight and sites are very unlevel. Nice picnic tables and concrete patio. Clean bathrooms a short hike away. Forget Wi-Fi; there is no such thing! No cable! Trash contained only a short hike away. Don't wait until the bag is full or drive to the trash. $35 would be a reasonable rate and they should not advertise Wi-Fi is available. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

MacMillen RV Park, Fort Davis, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here three nights and would highly recommend this campground. The spacing between campers is good. The spaces are level with good hookup locations. Grass, some small trees, gravel roads in good condition, and a great picnic table on a slab with a cover (very nicely done). Good laundry and bathrooms. Owner and camp host friendly and helpful with things to see and do in the area. Easy walk to downtown Ft Davis (about a mile). Don't miss this one, we'll stay here again! We camped at MacMillen RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
