Navy Lake Site at Allatoona (Military FamCamp), Cartersville, Georgia

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here every year while visiting family. The only site I'm comfortable in is Site #1 the disabled site. Our coach is 38' and the other sites are up on a hill and not level. Very pretty area situated on Lake Allatuna beach. Open year round. We camped at Navy Lake Site at Allatoona (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Spring Villa Park, Opelika, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

What a pleasant surprise! This is a city park in a very quiet part of town. Located on a lovely plantation/estate with the mansion still in good shape. They were turning it into a haunted house for Halloween.

Level pull thru concrete pads with nice gravel roads. Plenty of space, very easy to navigate. Staff was great, easy check in.

We've been looking for a halfway mark between Pensacola & Atlanta. For the last 4 yrs we stayed at "Lakeside RV" in Opelika. It was almost tolerable for one night but they keep raising the site rent yearly. Happy we found this gem. We camped at Spring Villa Park in a Motorhome.
